I see a lot of veeeery negative and angry comments about Teleperformance in here, so I thought it was worth sharing my experience too. I contacted a recruitment agency called Job Squad and they were the ones helping me get the job interview and they made sure all documents and the entire travel went smoothly - which it has! I have worked for Teleperformance in Greece for almost a year (I am aware that they have offices many places around the world, but I only have experience with TP Greece). The HR department and my supervisor always respond as well, so I don't experience being ignored or anything. Of course I don't know if this is true for all offices in the world, but I really never had those horrible experiences that other people describe in here - and if I have any private issues I can easily get help from the people in the recruitment agency who helped me get the job in the beginning (also, the girl who got the job interview for me, had also worked for TP Greece, so she shared all her knowledge and tips with me when I needed it - so nice!). So I think it's a big advantage to go through an agency like Job Squad to make sure you have easy help available.
Slavery and humiliationI worked there for 2 months (Spain), although I realized that I had to run from there in the 1st week. For a minimum wage, you will work seven days a week and on holidays, go to the toilet, and smoke strictly according to schedule, and you will make excuses for being late. It is already the 21st century all over the world, everyone is striving for work-life balance and open communication, but the Middle Ages reign here. No one deserves to work for this company!1 There is no system of motivation and rewards, but only a small salary. No bonuses, no restaurant card, no health insurance. But there is some kind of penalty system. Slavery.2 If you are late for work for at least 1 minute in the morning, after lunch, or after a 5-minute break, you need to justify yourself in the general chat. Seriously!? Humiliation.3 The equipment is not working. In the morning, you walk around the office in search of a working computer, you look for a working mouse, and then you also make excuses in the chat for the delay. It is the company's responsibility to provide working tools. If not, what is the demand from the employee?! Humiliation.4 Old crooked chairs, after which you will have to look for a doctor at your own expense to treat your back! Humiliation5 I was struck by the color differentiation of badges depending on the position. I'm sorry, but it seems like some caste system. Maybe I'm being picky, but I find it unethical. Humiliation.6 Complete lack of communication between employees and HR (and superior managers). It takes weeks to find an answer to any question, except for your daily duties directly. Any request is rejected. Slavery and humiliation.7 Management at the zero level. Because they are promoted to a leader, not based on their competencies, experience, or education, but based on how well they dance to the tune of the system established in the company.8 In my case, there were “floating” weekends. Ok. But everything is on the verge of legality. Otherwise, why sometimes for 10 days in a row I had only 1 day off?! Slavery.9 The disregard for employees is so absurd that the toilet in the office was not cleaned for 4 days during the Christmas holidays. Let me explain: a huge number of employees work both on weekends and bank holidays. But the company does not want to pay extra for these days to the cleaners. They save a mere trifle on this, but a whole floor of employees are humiliated and forced to use a dirty bathroom for several days in a row. Humiliation.I've worked in a lot of places before, in different countries and different companies, but Teleperformance just sucks!
The most disgusting company that unfortunately actively exists. I worked for them since March of this year and have recently been dismissed due to a mental health Condition. As well as the horrific training provided, the management are far too ego hungry to care about legitimate concerns you have, they can't answer direct questions and they'll lie through their teeth. Stay far away from this company as they won't value you as an employee, will not take concerns or problems into a serious understanding and they will will never show appreciation for the level of work they throw at you.
Considering that it 's so bloody obvious that the positive reviews are fake, probably posted by someone hired on their behalf, it only seems fair that I post this negative review. Like seriously, how little psychological knowledge do these people working their have? They present themselves as having people skills and all that knowledge, but somehow seem to be to freaking stupid to understand that someone writing a review is not going to write the same type of commercial catchphrases that they use to promote their company. No one writes like that. 80 1 stars and 20 percent 5 stars and nothing in between, the deception is pretty obvious. Not only do they try to scam their customers and employees, but they are even trying to scam this independent review website that is supposed to protect people from them.
An utter shambles. This company has the contract for a global automotive brand's breakdown service for car and commercial vehicles. Teleperformance are so incompetent that they cant even input a registration in to the system correctly. The staff are meant to speak fluent English but claim to never understand what you say to them. If you buy this global automotive brand's product and your unfortunate enough to breakdown in a car or commercial vehicle good luck as anything could happen once these incompetent people are involved.
