Review Time
Hounded by the background checkers for information provided time after time...equipment failed after 3 days left to battle with IT in India for 2 hours...waited for new monitor for 2 days I which time somebody dis contact me on day 3 to check in...even though I left repeated messages on absence line...finally tried to rejoin to be told I had missed too much training (even though it was due to their faulty equipment) told I had to wait for the next intake
I was so close to being ready to tackle the phones, but just needed more training and a bit of help, but was refused and told to get on with it. I was also told NOT to be so polite on the phones - yep, do I hear you say huh too? I explained I’m struggling and would like more support, the team leader’s reply was, well you have support via their version of a bible and an online help desk, that may or may not be there to help you! So instead of just listening to me and helping me for a couple more days (May I add at this point, it wasn’t just me requesting extra help either, we wanted to succeed, but the team leaders set us up to fail), they’d rather let me leave. What they were suggesting was NOT right. Plus I was told there would be 12 DAYS OF TRAINING and 2 weeks of nesting … 7 DAYS OF TRAINING, I am sure I know my maths, 7 is a lot less than 12!!! The two trainers were great, but after them, it collapsed, big time. So yeah, think you might want to work for this company, just think, would you swim with a bunch of starving sharks and that should lead to your answer ;)
Worst company ever. How they're allowed to even operate beats me. I have left this company for their lack of empathy to both workers and customers. They owed me six-days wages, but tried fogging me off with £12.97 because they think their clever by deleting my CMS Account which holds your pay details, but they don't realise that I have taken screenshots of time-sheets, payslips etc. I have now gone to tribunal as this company is ignoring phone-calls, voice messages and payroll is now non-existent (No contact number). Avoid this company like the plague.
If you have a disability or mental health problems, please DON’T work here. I’m currently an employee with physical limitations and bipolar and no leeway is given. I have requested to have breaks earlier around 2 hours into my shift due to my fatigue and been ignored. I have been penalised on calls monitored due to my symptoms, even tho I have advised them at start of shift. In addition I’ve been bullied by my team leader for over a year now. I have gotten retentions team involved but they did nothing to help with the bullying. I’m now forced to get a union involved because my conditions have worsened since I started here. PLEASE DON’T work here!! The pay is minimum no matter how high you go or length of employment, unless you go for management. This is an awful company to work for if you have disabilities or even otherwise.
I worked for them from November 2020 through April 2021 and this was my experience:Training was well while we were at it, about 5 weeks which is a considerable amount of time to learn a product, my campaing was banking customer service. Trainer knew product amazingly, had very good communication skills and overall handling groups effectively, everything good until...We actually started the work and were assigned to team leaders. Firstly, they assign around 15 people to 1 team leader which is overwelming. Throughout the training and the team leaders tell you all the time that you can ask everyhting, anytime, to anyone, LOL, this is one of their biggest lies because this is simply not true. After the 1st leader we were swithched to another suddenly because rotation, that first one was good, at least 1 a week personal feedback to revise errors in production. Things started to get apalling when the next team leader came in, out of the 15 people group, around 12 people (because we had multiple group chats) including me had to make a virtual appointment with HR after a MONTH of no feedback whatsoever from the TL and only vague contacts of 'hello' and of course the ones that had (feedbacks) were girls, sexism for starters. The problem being that during that month you get weekly monitors that rate your 'quality and product knowledge' in interactions and if you receive low scores this can affect directly to your wage, that's why feedbacks are so important and am pretty sure that precisely not giving them is deliberate. After forming our OWN whatsapp group of cast-out, disregarded employees and having the meeting with HR firstly they told us that, the matter wasn't bad enough to create a group and issue a complaint (which they facilitate through their inner web-platform in a specific section called 'TP te esucha' 'TP listens to you' made to address co-workers issues) and second and most surreal thing we were told was that the team leader's former campaign had been dissolved and was located in ours not to leave him whithout a job and was still learning the product....I had the patiente and HOPE that maybe this string of surreal situations would be all encompassing and that I might still work there just working as I was and very comfortable from home but I was naive. We started receiving 'warnings' in our email that due to our low scores we could loose our job, are you serious? I thought that the @.ss kissing and 'friendism' was a problem here in MExico but after reading ALL the reviews here I can see that it's a culture of the company worldwide. This business model actually functions in many companies around the world that exploit, overwhelm and saturate the employee which is usually people with no college studies and at the end when they 'quit' or are sided to quit they make them believe that at the end it's entirely your fault. Trash company that hides under layers of executives and supervisors and exploit the necessity of making a buck of non-studied people and even have the nerve of bragging of being included in best places to work, give me a break. Conclusion: incommunication is key to maintain unhappy employees, thus rotation, thus evading long economical compromises which in the long run benefits more the employee. TRASH
You are expected to make non-stop phone calls with no breathing pauses. You have a short break of 15 minutes every +/- 3 hours for which you are not paid. During working hours, they systematically keep track of everything about your system working from home: how much time there is between the calls you make, this must be under 10 seconds. If your status in the system is not correct, your manager will call you to ask why your status is incorrect. It's a ridiculous company with crazy incentives that ultimately lead to exploitation of the employees who do the heavy lifting. I can recommend any journalist to work undercover for Teleperformance during a COVID campaign because then you can write an article that makes the headlines. The Call Agents are underpaid (minimum wage) and it's not physically hard work, but mentally hard work. Most people leave within a few weeks. The IT systems are reminiscent of the 90s and also have the problems from that time (buggy, crashes, excruciatingly slow, login 10x, etc.). It's really laughable that they don't invest money in that to improve and modernize it. As a final point, I see exaggerated fake reviews online with superlatives about how 'fantastic' the work is which are clearly paid fake reviews. Don't fall for it, and think twice before working here.
Probs one of the most horrible experiences that I have had with TP I don’t understand why this company is still running I have autism which is a learning disability and they have disciplined me for investigatingAnd am covered under the Equality Act 2010 but this company does not care how they Treat there Staff it’s terrible there staff with Autism how we get treated within the business
I have never experienced anything worse. I got work through teleperformance and was told that if I myself paid for the plane ticket and hotel for 2 weeks, I would get all the money refunded. Now I stand here many months later with no money for a hotel for 2 weeks, even though I have proof and a picture that they write that I must get all the money back. Jar wrote SO many emails to them but haven't heard from them since.Would not recommend anyone to apply for a job through Teleperformance ever!
Pathetic place to work, humble warning to all, avoid!They micro manage full time, no appreciation for hard work! And messing in payment asking for the over dues at very later stage. The best way to get stressed out doing a lot for peanuts. TP UK
