No zero stars .

No zero stars .I bought a Hisense television on the 16th of August 2025 .Reported a problem less than a week later No help , no respect for the warranty. I was told by the sales rep. that my tv was to cheap and not to expect anything better. This was at ; The Brick in Hawkesbury Ontario. Today , the 1st of October 2025 , I received a phone call , saying that they can't do anything for me .I am stuck with a Hisense QD6 55" piece of junk .

I am extremely disappointed with The Brick’s handling of my warranty claim. I purchased the OK2LGRS3 Light Grey 3PC Sectional along with their Furniture Warranty Service Agreement, expecting peace of mind and product protection. Unfortunately, when significant issues developed—namely the left side cushion and backrest leaning, sinking, and sagging—my warranty claim was outright denied.The explanation provided was that “sagging is not covered” and that my product is now considered “everyday normal wear and tear” despite being only one year old. To me, a sectional sofa showing such visible deterioration in comfort and support after just a year indicates a defect in quality and durability, not ordinary wear. Denying coverage under these circumstances makes the warranty feel misleading and of little practical value.I believe a warranty should protect customers against premature structural and comfort issues—precisely the kind of concerns I reported. Instead, The Brick’s refusal leaves me with an expensive, poorly performing sofa and no recourse, despite having invested extra in their warranty program.This experience has left me questioning the value, transparency, and fairness of The Brick’s warranty service. Customers deserve products that last longer than a year without collapsing cushions and warranties that actually deliver on their promises.I would urge anyone considering a purchase to carefully read the fine print before buying both furniture and warranties from The Brick. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend their warranty service, and I will be much more cautious about future purchases.

The Brick Yorkdale storage bed

I purchased a bed frame from The Brick - Yorkdale 12 drawer, white - and have mixed views of it. I tried to post a review on thebrick.com six days ago, and it's still not posted. I don't know whether they're suppressing reviews that have some negative connotations, or their moderators are short staffed, but it seems like poor optics to me. It's made worse because they emailed me a promotion in which reviewing my product could be rewarded with its purchase price, so I've also been denied a chance at the prize they advertised to me.Here's the review text I tried to post: Bought this bed for lots of storage to divvy up, and it covers that, but it's very tall, resulting in dangling legs. Two pieces arrived with damage, and one bolt cap was missing, for which we're waiting on customer service to resolve. Unpacking and assembly took a couple of hours for two people, so not too bad. Attaching the headboard was harder than it had to be due to inaccurate instructions, and poorly drawn guidelines.It looks nice, and seems sturdy.

Buy a 43 inch tv I opened the box and…

Buy a 43 inch tv I opened the box and the tv was bent on the top corner and when I plugged it in after 10 minutes some lines appeared across the tv. Not even 15 hours later I brought it back and they told me that they do not exchange or give the money back, what kind of store does that, call the brick I sent pictures it has been 3 weeks and still no answer. I went on social media to write a very bad review on the brick and it seemed to work the feedback was amazing, any other store would have changed it write away. It is now 3 weeks and still waiting for an answer.

Warranty is a scam

I received a new mattress from a warranty claim, the mattress arrived in February. I called to inform them this mattress has a defective and need to be looked at being replaced. The customer service rep refuses to get a manager to speak to always and excuse in the warehouse, not able to come to the phone. Then also is trying to tell me that my mattress doesn't have warrenty anymore that once you have warrenty once your done!! Once again the brick with crappy service and the lying to the customer about there items

Horrible customer service regarding warranty

I purchased a dishwasher in April of 2023. I paid for installation and extended warranty. The unqualified installer came left a mess and did not install it correctly so two other installers came back to fix the bottom kick plate. They informed at that time that it was installed incorrectly and they had fixed the kick plate. 2 years later the dishwasher dropped and shifted because there was not any bracing installed on the upper part of the dishwasher to the countertop or cabinet. The feet of the dishwasher were not installed as the installation instructions said they should be. The feet were extended to the maximum, even though the installation instruction book stated they should only be extended up to half way. Now I have a dishwasher that has dropped, the legs are bend over and the dishwasher has dropped about 2 inches from the original position. The Brick will not do anything about this because the installation warranty is only 1 year and the fact that it was not installed correctly originally doesn't matter. I asked for my installation fee to be refunded as the installation was defective. They have refused. If you purchase anything from the Brick that requires installation, do not use their installation service as they do not know what they are doing, nor will they fix anything their workers do. Now I will have to pay someone else to come in and install it properly. Total waste of paying for the installation at the Brick. Even though the Brick did an automatic reply stating they would call after I sent the information again, they have not. The reply is the same for all negative reviews. It means nothing, but sure looks good to unsuspecting customers.To the customer service department, don't put up that automatic response about how you will look into it as we both know is not true.

Customers are not a priority

I have bought many items in the past 18 months from The Brick including 4 mattresses and a couch. One mattress was much firmer than in the store, but it was exchangeable so I am attempting to exchange it. The delivery system is a nightmare. They will not arrange delivery until nearly a week later. I had told them that I had an event on that day, so only first thing may work. The salesperson didn't note that, so they won't guarantee first drop off - since they don't start until 11 am with deliveries. The next delivery day is nearly a week later and you have to bend to whenever they say. They don't care if you work long hours or what works for you. All I asked for is first thing if at all possible - but you would think that I was asking the world. Customers are such a bother.........Trying to ask simple questions were met with snotty comments - ones that made it very clear that they clearly were not listening to my question. They just told me "the way it will be" and they don't care now that the sale is made.We have other items to shop for and will be going elsewhere

Don't use the Brick

Don't use the Brick. Worst delivery service ever. They were rude, damaged the new fridge and my doorway and refused to take the old fridge. After arguing for a week they agreed it was there fault and came back to get the old fridge only to damage my wall again. STILL WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO CALL. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!

We purchased a mattress from this store…

We purchased a mattress from this store and, without asking, were given a discounted rate. We also paid the delivery fee. When speaking with the representative (Prachi), we specifically mentioned that we needed the mattress sooner, but she said delivery would take three days. After three days, the mattress arrived damaged, with a hole in it.When I asked for compensation, the team was unhelpful. Since the damage was their fault, the mattress should have been replaced immediately, but they refused. On top of that, when I requested a resolution, they did not approve anything and instead became rude.This was a very disappointing experience. I would not buy from them again, and I strongly suggest they provide proper training for their customer service representatives.

The brick is operated by overzealous,people that only care about your money,they will try their aggressive tactics to sell you what you don,t need,harass you,intimidate you to believe you need something you don,t want,they are only interested in making a sale,they don,t care anything else about you,their delivery drivers are rude,and have not , clue.
