The OBB ticket machine at Vienna airport offers a journey to center of Vienna for 7 euros. For 17 euros however they offer 72 hours travel all around Vienna using buses, trains and trams. Sounds like a reasonable deal?Wrong.!!You have just left yourself open to a 105 euro fine which will be rigorously enforced. If you have the audacity to question this, believing that you have done nothing wrong and not pay the on the spot fine and ask time to check and clarify, that will cost you another 30 euros administration fee. Yes, because the ticket they sell you at the ticket machine at Vienna airport for use all over Vienna is not valid to or from Vienna airport. So you see it's all your fault, not theirs for being ambiguous or unclear. 135 euros in fines plus 17 euros for the original ticket or 36 euros door to door in an Uber?I know what I will be doing if there's ever a next time...
I am utterly disappointed by how they handled my case. I’ve been a regular passenger for over 10 years, since I was a schoolgirl. While traveling between music concerts, I accidentally left my weekly ticket and additional one-way tickets in another wallet. The ticket checker publicly announced my full legal name and said I could send photos of the ticket later to resolve it. I couldn’t find one of the one-way tickets that day due to the crowd and stress.I sent photos of my weekly ticket to the company, but they rejected them, claiming it wasn’t “personalized.” Later, I sent bank statements showing my name and the date/time of the ticket purchases (including one bought 10 minutes before I was fined), but they ignored it. Months later, I called them, thinking the matter was resolved, and they said I still had to pay the fine and the agency says the direct bank evidence is not proof but this is actually personalization.I contacted another agency, but even with clear evidence, they said nothing could be done. They refused to reduce the fine until my mom intervened herself and mentioned that the collection agency had sent notices to a completely wrong, unregistered address—I never received anything at my actual address. I also provided my ticket history via apps and Vorteilscard. They also complained that my mom wasn't supposed to "intervene" on her own accord. As a musician who travels often and had several big concerts that week, I feel completely mishandled and misled. The added stress from this company was atrocious.

Driver very rude, snappy and not helpful. We are travelling from Bad Isch to Salzburg. We are not aware that we are not allowed to talk in the bus, we were treated as a children not as an adult. We thought that people here are friendly but all I experienced is all opposite to what I read about this place. Bus number 150 date 11/06/25 time 09:10
