Fantastic from start to finish, made me feel extremely comfortable the whole way through, asked me about my interests and took an interest in me, only downside was my doctor being a Manchester United fan! From the outset, I've had nothing but a professional experience. My initial assessment was explained extremely well. Paul broke everything down for me, telling me what was required, and how much it would cost. My patient coordinator (Chelsea), kept me informed on what was happening on a regular basis. As I had travelled from Northern Ireland, I was put up in a hotel very close to where the procedure would be carried out. The hotel was very clean and comfortable indeed. The day of the surgery was a pleasant experience. It was a very relaxed atmosphere. Dr Manish explained exactly what was happening that day, and put me at ease with any queries I had. His staff were also very friendly and professional. The aftercare post surgery was explained in great detail to me. And Chelsea has been communicating regularly to see how my aftercare is progressing.It's been an excellent experience.
Despite the fact that we didn't go ahead with surgery on the day, I can not fault Dr. Elgindi and the team in the slightest.Dr. Elgindis' integrity came before anything else today and I completely respect the decision to not complete the surgery. Although not the outcome I had initially anticipated I am very satisfied with UK Hair as a company and if my future circumstances change then I would definitely be back in touch with yourselves before any other company.Jamie
I had a transplant at UK Hair Transplant, I am yet to see results as it was only a week ago but the service provided by Chelsea who works at the Warrington/Manchester location has been very attentive thus far. Answers all my queries and is super helpful and pitting all worries to rest.
Contacted about possible hair transplant. Was then phoned (by mobile numbers, which I didn't initially answer - this is definitely an area which UK Hair may want to consider changing). Did answer eventually and was given a clear and helpful overview of possible procedures. The next stage was being put in touch with one of the clinical advisers, Paul, who arranged to video chat over WhatsApp for about 15mins (having sent him pics beforehand). He assessed what could be done and gave some examples. I then decided to go ahead with an appointment with two of the UKHair team. This was £500 which was refundable if surgery didn't go ahead or I wasn't suitable. (I'd pay them £100 if I didn't go for my assessment). Paul sent an assessment email through with the pricing agreed over the video call. Was also told I'd be contacted by Chelsea, who would help me through surgery. She did contact a couple of times. At the assessment (which lasted around 30mins), they were very friendly and helpful and gave me an assessment of my hair (to see if it was possible) and took blood pressure etc. Answered any questions. The potential surgeon even came in to help briefly. Went away with a report emailed later. I actually then decided not to go through with the procedure for various reasons. The team cancelled my surgery and gave back my £500 (which I wasn't expecting). I decided to go for another option instead and a further member of the UKHair team called Jay put me in contact with someone who could do this. Also said I could message him with any questions any time. So yes, a positive experience. You will get lots of texts (!) and calls and a few emails. Yes I'm sure they are encouraged to 'sell' but I didn't feel pressurised or that they were only there to sell. As for whether you get a hair transplant or not, it's something only you can answer but I'd strongly suggest going with UKHair or someone like them who do what they say, are reputable and professional.
