I booked the bulk maid service twice from Urban Company, and both times the service was cancelled because the professional “didn’t have an Emirates ID.” This is completely unacceptable — any worker operating in Dubai must have an Emirates ID by law.This situation created major inconvenience, especially because I needed the service urgently. The company should not confirm bookings unless they verify their staff meet UAE regulations and building access requirements.Urban Company needs to take responsibility and improve its compliance and reliability. Until then, I can’t recommend their service.
Unless AC SERVICE Especially other utilities like plumbing or electrical without talking requirement/purpose with the technician paying in advance/front is a great minus point.In fact professional visit unnecessary and the cost shown is something different than actual amount to be paid or paid Their inability to have a call centre is great minus point and I certainly opt the one who has.
I had a very disappointing experience with this company. Twice, my cleaner was cancelled, and I was only contacted and told at the time I was supposed to have the cleaner already at my house. On another occasion, my cleaner showed up at my door, and I didn’t have a booking for that day. The support service (Rashali) is not very helpful when it comes to these situations, offering no solutions, just apologising and saying that the company is very sorry. They have automatically rescheduled my cleaning to a time I didn't agree to and cannot do. But as a customer, you simply don’t have a choice, I organise my day to have a cleaner when you requested and wait for them — and it just doesn’t happen! They need to improve how they deal with issues and respect customer time more, as it’s a paid service, not free!Not very recommended!
Service person came and repaired the Fridge, after some time running new issues have been faced that fridge not started. After discussion with technician, told having issue in compressor.Compressor is working fine till before technician starts the work.Please help to rectify the fridge or return the repair charges
The istahelp service experts need to be trained both on the speed of work considering you charge high fees and their unprofessional behaviour. They come in with such attitude and then if they dont like the work they pass remarks. There is no customer support number to call and report the issues except for chat which they take too long to respond.
I have been a regular customer of Urben cleaning services for a long time, but lately their service has become extremely disappointing. They have been missing my scheduled services for 2–3 hours at a time, and despite having the bulk monthly package, they repeatedly call me to cancel, claiming that their system is not working or that they cannot reach my address (which I have already added correctly in the application).Instead of solving the issue, they keep giving excuses, and after several attempts, it is clear they cannot resolve the problem. This has been a very unprofessional experience, and unfortunately, they have lost me as a customer for good.
AC_technician_by_UC: The technician was uncooperative when asked to explain the problem, staying silent instead. He had a strong odour which seemed unhygienic. He spent more than 2 hours unwiring and then rewiring the entire AC on 17th August, but while doing so, he used gift wrapping tape around the thimble, which was not appropriate. Before leaving, he said the AC wasn’t working and that he couldn’t do anything and informed us that his senior would come next time to fix it. Despite knowing the AC wasn’t working properly, he left the AC running. Two minutes after he left, there was sparking and a short circuit in the AC. After that, the AC didn’t work at all. Even though AC_technician_by_UC was knowing that AC was NOT repaired, he marked the status as “Job Complete” on UC app. Later, a senior technician came to inspect and found that other parts of the AC, like the thimble, wire cable, and compressor, had also become faulty. Despite the warranty, UC was forcing us to pay for thimble, wire cable, and compressor even though the damage was done because of wrong rewiring and taping done by AC_technician_by_UC. Urban Company: I'm surprised that a large company like “Urban Company” isn’t paying its executives for basic necessities especially because the technicians are showing up in torn clothes to make repairs. I'm also shocked that the company is providing gift wrapping tape for the job instead of proper black tape, which is used for wiring electrical devices. Even though the company offers a one-month warranty, the "Book Revisit" option automatically gets disabled on the UC app after just one revisit and one audit by UC executives. As a result, we can’t even book a revisit when the service warranty is still valid. Even when my warranty was still applicable, the option to rate this particular service also got removed from the UC app and as a result I was not able to write my reviews or ratings for that technician.Four different customer care representatives contacted me on separate occasions to listen to my concern. Each of them concluded the conversation by stating that they would follow up after consulting with their supervisors. While all representatives were polite and professional, none had the authority to resolve the issue. I appreciate the efforts of the customer care team for patiently listening to me to understand the issue thoroughly and but eventually they all defended their company policies instead of providing solutions.Conclusion: Since no solution was provided by Urban Company to fix the damage done by the company partner, therefore I am switching to “keyvendors” for better efficiency.
Urban company executives collude with the painting partners to offer service at a good price and then cut corners . For me Mr Sujit Keshri from UC included water proofing, furniture wrapping, atleast 2 workmen, putty , primer and 2 coat royal and day 1 1 person without the furniture wrap, day 2 single person who said water proofing was not included and the customer service is a pain , offering the same petty solutions and calling multiple times without resolution. Don't book any painting jobs with UC. If u do, the approval shd reflect everything, don't believe the executives at all.
