Absolutely shocking service. Would never ever buy a Mercedes. Car is under warranty and was told would have to wait 5 weeks to have a ball joint done. I would have to take a day of work for them to look at if and then another day off for them to repair it.
I sent Mercedes a payment in June through the mail, Mercedes applied it to someone else’s account. I continued to make my payments regularly, then in September I start getting harassed by Mercedes stating I never made my June payment and was a month behind and needed to pay them immediately. For four hours I went back and forth with them being redirected, hung up on, given emails to write to to provide proof of payment. After ten separate phone calls they realized they had made a mistake on their end. I asked for some sort of compensation (not financial compensation) for the four hours I had wasted trying to fix their mistake and for being harassed in the middle of a pandemic and they refused to do anything to rectify their mistake. In addition to that they reported to my credit report I made late payments and now I have to reach out to ALL of the credit bureaus to correct their mistake. I have been a BMW customer my entire life, this is my first Mercedes and will be my last. Their customer service is horrific.
Bought an A CLASS from the branch in waltham cross. Dealt with a guy called Rob. Rob was very responsive until the deal was done. Had a few issues with the car, and after spending 22k. I tried emailing and calling with the hope someone would get back to me. No one every did, this branch are happy to take your money and that's it.the after care is an absolute disgrace. One of my friends works for a national paper wonder if they would like to do a write up on this disgraceful branch.PLEASE PEOPLE AVIOD THIS BRANCH
In July 2019 I bought a Mercedes Benz E-Class 2016 from the main dealer Mercedes-Benz of Huddersfield. One of the worst experiences in my life I ever had. I live 270 miles away from their garage and I spoke with two days before to visit their shop, I will come and see and possibly to buy the car. I have arrived on time at my destination and after a two hours long discussion they told me the car isn't ready and I must come the next day. I saw some scruffs and marks inside but I thought it is not a bid deal. In the end, I took the car after four and a half hours. Unprofessional sellers, arrogant, and lack of experience in selling a product to a customer. After a few days, I was to clean the car at the carwash. They shaw me how many problems the car has. Even the paint had problems because they didn't polish properly. If someone looks at the car when is a sunny day can see the marks on the car. September came and during the cold night I switch on the heating, but I realized another problem, the radio didn't want to work anymore. I was at the main dealer, in my area, to do some checks, but surprisingly my extended warranty didn't cover my rear window. I told them I do not have a problem with the window, I have a problem with the radio. I made a complaint to MB and in the end, they replace the window. Still losing signal, but at least isn't so worst. In February 2020 I made a booking to solve my problem and schedule the car for March 2020, but because of the lockdown, my booking has been cancelled. After the lockdown, before my warranty will expire, I called at MB warranties and they told me I can solve my problem even my warranty will expire in a few days. I made a booking to check the car and I was scheduled for August 2020, but surprise I must pay this time because my warranty has expired, even, my problem still exists. By the way, I do not have an extended warranty anymore because MB UK didn't want to extend my warranty for a reason: You are using your car for your business. When I bought the car, I asked how can I extend the warranty and the seller Mercedes-Benz of Huddersfield told me I must speak with MB warranties. So, from what I understand, MB does not want to sell their car to business sellers even they comply with MB rules. I suppose they are not so sure about their car quality, as it was when they build their name. Some wheels problems came up after months driving the car, but this story in another post. The quality of Mercedes Benz E-Class 2016 is like a Toyota Avensis, but the prices are for a Mercedes Benz S-Class.
Rubbish service just trying to get my wife’s Smart car serviced. Given complaints tel number, didn’t work, given another ... options system didn’t work. Nearly 100 year old company; think they’d have gotten it right by now. #woeful
