What a horrid taxi driver last night!The taxi arrived at 00:03. I arrived there at 00:06 and he said “it had been cancelled because I was a no-show” and then refused to take us home!….he was rude & arrogant, absolutely disgusting behaviour from your driver. I rang the office at 12:07 to speak to the operator and he said he would arrange us another taxi which would be 15 minutes, which was not good enough as our taxi was there and had waited 4 minutes for us to arrive before cancelling! I will never be using you again.Check the times on the email I recieved! Your booking with TELFORD VEEZU (P) was cancelled as the driver could not find you. We apologise if this was in error. The only reason I left one star is because I couldn’t leave 0 stars. WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. Sent me a text to say my cab is coming only to delay for 20 minutes and then when I call, the customer service person tells me the can has picked up another passenger without even informing me. Service is always delayed without explanation until you call and ask. This has happened on multiple occasions. Terrible! Don’t book this if you have somewhere important to be. Book Uber instead!
used this form once a year ago, for a 1pm pickup from work. cos i was out of area, i had to book over the phone. they took my money, no taxi showed. had to get Corky's from Cannock to save me.a year later, Veezu are mailing me telling me how great they are. Corky's great. and they don't mail me. veezu. garbage. Typical gen-Y money making scheme, dont care about custoemrs
It seems when Veezu was 'Drive Cars', there was the odd delay but overall a local taxi service to be relied on.Unfortunately since the transition to 'Veezu' the service seems to deteriorate day by day.Arranging the pick up times is a straightforward process but increasingly the cars do not arrive on time- for example today one taxi arrived 25 minutes later than the scheduled time!And this evening the taxi was 1 hour and 10 minutes late!Ringing the office results in a lot of different staff saying the car will be just 2 minutes or just 5 minutes away, only the taxi does not arrive in that time.Seems the taxi drivers (and customers) are now let down by a disorganised organisation!
I decided to ditch Uber and give Veezu a try, given that they've finally moved towards app-based contact for pickups.My experience couldn't have been more negative.A rude taxi driver who didn't know what he was doing. I booked a taxi to pick me up outside the info commons. Next to the info commons there's a busy road that you can't stop at called uppergate rd that it pointed him to.Meanwhile the app was telling me to wait at a quiet road nearby called Leavygreave road. The taxi driver stopped at the busy uppgate road one you can't stop at and rang me up rudely demanding to know where I was. I told him that the app had told me that the pickup point was at Leavygrave road but he didn't listen and ranted incoherently to the point that he had stressed me out and I hung up. I deleted my Veezu account, uninsytalled the app and reinstalled Uber. Will NEVER use Veezu and its clueless, clownish drivers ever again.
