Review Time
This is the most useless customer service I have ever encountered.I used to live in the Netherlands 3,5 years ago, and had an active account linked to my Dutch phone number.Since then, I moved to Denmark and tried accessing my account with my email address, but cannot since a security code is sent to my former Dutch phone number, which is inactive now.I have been going back and forth for at least a year with multiple tickets with their support team, but no one is actually trying to help me.I have shared all documentation requested to confirm my identity (bank account statement, passport, etc) but for some reason, their team is holding my account, which makes no sense because I am only trying to access MY account to spend MY money on their website.This is absolutely ridiculous, and there is absolutely no way to get anyone on the phone, or to escalate the issue.I am very mad at this vendor.
Be warned, if you are sent something that does not match the description (in my case something that had a large, clear rip, despite being described as 'very good condition'), you the buyer will be forced to pay the return shipping costs. The seller can send whatever they want, and you get charged. Scam!
If I could give negative stars, it would have gotten negative 5/5. I send a package to Poland, which was delayed in polish mail service. Due to this even though evidence from the danish mail service PostNord was provided and from which it clearly showed that it arrived also trough communication with the buyer, the sale got cancelled. DONT USE VINTED
They don’t let me withdrew money. I had my money for the camera (original with receipts) on my vinted wallet.Then they said they suspected scam, closed my account and kept my money.So basically i had my item stolen.Dont use vinted, dont use third party options, just be mindful on fb marketplace.There is no where you can call, only slow emails with automated answers.I was a victim of theft on vinted, dont recommend anybody to use it and i will never sell/buy from there.Even one star is too much would give minus 1000 stars if possible.
I don’t enjoy using Vinted. I was a very happy and long time user of the Danish platform Trendsales, and now, after Vinted taking over their clientele, I feel left with a platform flooded with rubbish products and poor user options. Searching for anything, one must go through hundreds of listings of bad quality items from elsewhere in Europe, mostly Poland. What’s sustainable about that? I don’t understand why there isn’t a geographical radius search option. I don’t understand either why it’s not possible to choose that a listing is for pick-up only and not shipping. When I get notifications, I can’t remove them, but have to open and close them as well as the app several times before there are ticked off as ‘read’. When writing reviews, it should be possible to add photos in order to better showcase unsatisfactory conditions of purchases if not aligned with the description. Vinted is crap.
