I have tried to purchase a pair of standard jeans but was disappointed with the product I received.The jeans are extremely frayed and acid washed at the hem without being only one hem line stitch. Not at all what they look like in the photo, nor was there a description to note the style. To me they looked like regular hemmed jeans. I think it was fair to request a return to the seller so I asked the seller but he kept trying to point me to the Levi’s website to photos that weren’t in the listing or the “make of the jeans” to show it’s a normal hem. I still continue to explain to him I didn’t buy with these photos of the description of the jeans for sale (otherwise I wouldn’t have bought them as I want standard style jeans not extremely distressed hems).In the end Vinted favoured the seller.I feel completely unsupported on this platform. I feel like I as a seller give measurements and fill up the photos with as many as possible. I know that’s not how it works for everyone but I feel at the very least a return would have been a reasonable outcome because there is a disatisifed customer and I was willing to pay for the return. I can’t say I will be using their platform any longer as it’s not the first time I have felt disappointed with the Vinted’s practices and the outcomes that affect me on their platform.
Worst app I have ever tried. Most frustrating experience I have had with any app or company. You are locked into a weird and closed off system full of little annoying poorly thought out features. You can’t do what you want to do. Sometimes you have access to “contact us” sometimes you don’t.Very bad.
The most horrible customer service I have ever come across, no possibility to select which country/city to buy from, strange processes. I sent an offer for an item, the seller accepted, and a few hours later, I see that the item had been sold to someone else. When I asked the seller, he said that the money hadn't been sent so someone else could go in and buy it. Shouldn't that go automatically if I make an offer that is accepted. Or do they expect me to non-stop check the app?
Vinted holds users responsible for courier’s mistake – and refuses to reimburse shippingI sent two parcels with the correct Vinted shipping labels, but the courier (DAO) mixed them up. Both buyers agreed to return the items, yet Vinted forced me to pay return shipping. On top of that, neither I nor the buyers were reimbursed for the original shipping costs – even though the mistake was 100% on the courier. Vinted took no responsibility and offered no real support. Completely unacceptable.
