Review of SellerReview of Seller: ZnanametkaI had a very distressing experience with this seller. I purchased a vest which arrived damaged because it had been packed improperly—I followed all the correct steps: I opened a case with Vinted, submitted evidence, and waited. The seller had 48 hours to respond but did nothing even after 8 days, so Vinted closed the case in my favor and issued a refund.After that, the seller (Znanametka) began harassing me:•She accused me of fraud and theft•She admitted to packing it incorrectly but still blamed me•She sent threatening messages, including legal threats•She found me on social media and began stalking me•She stalked me on Vestiaire and reported multiple listings on my Vinted account so they closed.•She has created a hostile and intimidating situation for meI’ve never refused to return the vest and clearly stated I was happy to do so through Vinted. But the seller’s behavior became so aggressive and inappropriate that I no longer feel safe engaging with her.I reported everything to Vinted, but she is still active, and it’s very upsetting that this kind of harassment goes unpunished.I had to block her on vinted because of her behavior, which is too bad regarding resolving the problem.Please be extremely cautious if you choose to deal with this seller.Ps. I hope vinted refund her the money.
On April 29th, 2025, I attempted to purchase a necklace through Vinted, but the payment was declined due to an issue with your system. As a result, I met with the seller in person the following day, April 30th, and completed the transaction directly. This is also reflected in our chat history and by the fact that the sale was manually marked as completed.Despite this, an amount matching my original offer for the necklace (DKK 2,500 + buyer protection + shipping = 2658,50 DKK) has still been withdrawn from my account, despite the chat clearly shows that this payment was declined twice in your system.I do not understand how this could have happened, and it has caused me considerable concern and insecurity.
First, take a look at their App Store reviews. They have just taken good reviews of products bought and used it as good app reviews. How they are allowed to do that I have no idea of, but clearly a scam behaviour. They also set the country of my account to a wrong country which I found out when I was selling stuff. Support said they couldn’t help so I couldn’t sell the clothes. I deleted the account and now I can’t create a new one. So useless site for me
I have put up 2 pairs of sneaker for sale on 13th of April. I had taken pictures of every important detail, with their respective boxes in the background. Everything was alright, as they let me sell them for almost a week. Suddenly, without being given a chance to prove that I do have the 2 pairs of shoes, they banned my account for “fraudulent activities” (being erroneously flagged as having multiple accounts, even though it was the first, and now the only, time I’ve created an account there). I don’t recommend it, even to browse there.
I joined Vinted after it bought out Trendsales.MUCH better exposure to sell ones things than the local Danish platforms, where at times its been challenging to sell things, and get the fair price...And the recent change on the once great local selling platform has been terrible..Minus the customer service which at times can be frustrating, I've sold my items quickly, and like the exposure to Sweden and Poland with whom I've only had good business transactions. Unfortunately I can't say the same for the local marketI've been fully refunded when necessary, and never had any concerns When I sell something, I take pictures of every stage of the packing well packed, pictures of the package at the post shop and keep the receipt With that I've never had any problems, allways been compensated if necessary. I recommended Vinted especially after the recent mess with a once great Danish selling platform.I see many negative reviews and personally my positive experiences have WAY out shone the negativeI will trust the Vinted platform any day of the week where I can see and read the reviews of the person I'm buying from, track my shipment, over the local alternative here in Denmark where I can't see seller reviews, have to share every financial transactions with the state via MIT ID, and have to give out my account details to a unknown third party via "Fiks færdig" when selling a sock which opens the door to so much more potential abuseFor those negative reviews saying they bought counterfeit goods, Use your common sense. If in doubt, or "if it's too good to be true" it probably is and avoid as you would in Denmark.You won't get a genuine Chanel bag or Tom ford perfume for 500kr people.
Dear VintedWhy should I pay for the return freight when the articles are fake? It's illegal to sell fake products in the EU, and they should be returned to the police, and a file should be made. Why do you want me to pay for returning fake articles?Your shop is FULL of fake perfumes, especially from Polen.!Best regards Jens Vornøe
