Horrible experience dealing with a…

Horrible experience dealing with a supervisor named Vicki, was not helpful did not resolve the issue! I own a 3 bedroom in Orlando Westgate lakes and was exchanging too another Westgate in Gatlinburg and was told they didn’t have a three bedroom for my time but said they could do a 2 br and a studio and I was fine with. Then got my credit card bill and was charged for 2 exchange fees. This was not right and called too dispute the two fees and they told me it was none refundable but was not told I would be charged twice for two separate unites when I own a three bedroom, I have been an owner for over 15 years and this is how they treated me. I would not recommend being an owner at the Westgate! There is only a few places that are nice, others are just ok, a maybe 2 star!

The Cowboy Adventure Park had some fun attractions, but the maintenance of some rides could be improved.

Well my experience was not too good but just fair cause the pricing was high, and they had some secret rules, but about the location and beauty all is well

under no circumstance should you ever do any business with them.

Dear god people absolutely do not under any circumstance do any business with these people. I own a timeshare because I was stupid and would give it to you for free if you want it. I paid 20 thousand dollars for it and is paid off and I will give it to you for free no questions asked. Hell I would pay you to take it. Does that not tell you any thing.

Westgate Resorts STOLE MONEY

Westgate Resorts STOLE MONEYBought 3rd party tickets from Westgate Resorts for a dinner show called Pirates Voyage. I was never told I needed to show my receipt they printed at the door. I did not get tickets. I got a printed receipt. I stood there as they called and made my reservation and got a confirmation number via phone. I realized I lost my receipt in the rain when I was looking for the dinner time show. I called to confirm my reservation and the show placed said to make sure I bring my printed receipt. I went back the next day to get another receipt printed and showing them my bank statement that I purchased it for $300 the day before. The rudest girl basically told me they have my money and will not reprint me anything and I am out of luck and cannot attend the dinner show. So they would not re-print my receipt NOR refund my money. I was out of the $300 plus the dinner show I planned for my family on our last night there. This company should be embarrassed the way that their employees speak to customers.

My wife and I are retirees who have been scammed

My wife and I are retirees who have been lied to by Westgate salespeople from the very beginning. We were checking in for a vacation at a Westgate Resort in Florida. Before arriving, we were promised that the meeting wouldn’t require us to make any additional purchases which we confirmed on the phone call with their associate. When we checked in and attended the meeting, we were given fruit and small Danishes which we thought would hold us over through a promised 90-minute meeting. The meeting dragged on much longer than expected and my wife started to get back pain. When I tried letting the salespeople know they didn’t seem to care much. They pressured us into staying and told us repeatedly that if we didn’t buy, we would be making a huge mistake. Everything had become so overwhelming, so we just purchased it so we can get out of there and have my wife rest her back. These people are savages and don’t care if you are comfortable or not. I wrote to the President and CEO Mr. David Siegel, and I am hoping to get a response to cancel our membership. If they don’t want to let us out, I will look for an attorney to help us. We are elderly folks who feel that we were targeted. Do not waste your time with these people and be careful or you will certainly lose a substantial amount of money.

Westgate Nightmare

I am leaving this review because of the misleading tactics and lack of transparency we encountered from Westgate. The entire experience was riddled with deception, from the bait-and-switch approach of promoting a Super Bowl viewing that turned out to be a mere ruse to get us into a sales presentation, to the shocking revelation of hidden fees and obligations that would burden our children for generations. Now we are trapped in a financial commitment that we were never fully informed about, and we will not allow our family to inherit this unjust burden. This all started on a trip to Las Vegas to see Kelly Clarkson. It was also Super Bowl weekend. Upon our arrival at the Westgate hotel, a young man approached us, saying, “You both seem like football enthusiasts; come with me.” He led us to a desk where a woman was waiting. He informed her, “Let’s set these football fans up to enjoy the Super Bowl.” She then started asking about our stay and mentioned that we would be treated to breakfast and a show of our choice. She instructed us to come for breakfast the following morning, where we would have a 60-minute presentation before receiving our “gifts.”The 60-minute presentation turned into a 5-hour ordeal where we felt trapped as we declined various packages they offered. Ultimately, in a bid to escape and catch the Super Bowl, which had already begun, we reluctantly agreed to a more affordable Florida package. We were assured this package would appreciate in value and be easy to sell due to its location near Disney. Additionally, we were told we were not just investing in our future, but also in the futures of our children and grandchildren, as it was framed as a fantastic investment opportunity. In the end, they lured us in with a fake Superbowl offer. We found ourselves squeezed into a corner of a room where the game was being shown. During halftime, we decided to watch the game from the comfort of our hotel room, which was far more accommodating and enjoyable.

Our weekend at Westgate Resorts was everything we hoped for. The infinity pool was stunning, and the sunset views were breathtaking. Highly recommend for a peaceful retreat.

Don't waste your time with Westgate! Horrible Experience

My wife and I were deceived into joining Westgate’s timeshare program. We were stuck in a room for 3.5 hours with salesmen approaching us and pressuring us to sign up for a timeshare. We NEVER wanted a timeshare to begin with but we were forced to purchase so we could finally be able to leave. Since our purchase, we have tried to book stays in Vegas and Orlando many times but have had issues with availability. Whenever a promotional offer requiring an upgrade meeting is available, we have no issue making a reservation but then are subjected to required meetings. We have had no luck using our points at all. We managed to rent a villa in Las Vegas through Westgate with no problem at all, but this was of course outside of our contract where we paid out of pocket. So, what was the point of purchasing? We were scammed by Westgate, period, end of story.

I celebrated my birthday at Westgate Resorts, and the staff went the extra mile to make it special. The villa was immaculate, and the birthday cake they surprised me with was delicious!
