We stay here often and this is the 3 rd time at this resort in Orlando, Fl. We are currently staying in Bldg 5000 on the 18th floor. We had problems with the room from the beginning, whe we arrived and found the kitchen counter, dining table and bathroom dirty, with poop marks on the bathroom door and hair on the kitchen counters and floor, Also, the tub had not been cleaned. I notified the on Duty Manager, who was a real rude idiot,who refused to send us up towels,and address the roll out bed uncomfortable Crappy bed, and replace the mattress . This is “Supposedly” a 5 Star resort with 1 Star staff, with mostly rude and poorly trained staff, who Do Not Provide 5 Star service.! Far from this, and as a matter of fact the staff go out of their way to make your experience miserable.I will also report my experience with the Better Business Bureau, and State Attorney Generals office .This place lies to customers and isn’t even a 2 star resort . Until they address the lack of customer service and dirty rooms, this place will Never be a 5 star resort . Thank you Sincerely
Please no one ever buy a time share with westgate it is a scam. If you buy one it is almost impossible to get rid of even if you try and sell for $1.00 if you pay it off you have to pay maintance fees forever and they will go up every year.
Horrible customer service. I would never stay there unless I had to. Beyond shady. Stephanie in customer service is horrible. About as helpful as a broken stick. Changing rates on a convention customer after paid in full. Total money grab. Deceptive trade at its finest!!
This place is a big Scam. Basically the manager at the end was pushy and was pissy. Basically we were promised breakfasts with out half price hotel stay. And it was on their website but they claimed they didn’t know anything about free breakfasts. They lied about free gifts regardless whether we buy or not. It took three hours for a presentation instead of the promised 90 minutes. It wasn’t worth the free promises to sit that long. Never again. I would recommend to ANYONE.
Invited us to presentation, offered a condo to stay in worth $1100 if we attended. We arrived, they said we owed them money and wouldn't present. From 2 yrs so. Never once have they asked us for money from 2 yrs ago. Our credit report is pretty clean, doesn't mention this. I have an email receipt of the payment. Now we have to reschedule with some other company to present. They didn't offer to clear up the matter immediately, just send emails on Monday. They called their security when I explained that they were being unprofessional and I would probably say mean things about their business. He was a serious guy, pretty professional. But they called him why? One star because there aren't negative stars.We found another presentation company to save our charge on our condo.
I did not do my due diligence. When offered this opportunity at the NY Travel Show I specifically asked if this was a time share offer. The representative said no. Only to find out once I got here and was stuck in a presentation for 5 1/2 hours and purchased out of sheer exhaustion! Thank goodness for the cancellation policy!! I can't get this certified letter to them fast enough.
By far the worst experience I’ve ever had immediately during check-in. It took 45 minutes just to make it to the receptionist desk with only three families in line including myself after check-in. It took 40 minutes to get a ride to our room. I think it’s a nightmare that they charge $25 per person to enter the waterpark so that’s $50 a day for my family. The prices are extremely high the Internet never worked so I was unable to do any of my schoolwork out of the 4 to 5 restaurants. Only one was the one that was open we ate chicken tenders at had, cheeseburger, and pizza. My little one wanted tenders and there was no condiments available except for blue cheese out of all of the six options listed the soda that I got out of the vending machine of course was halfway open and flat. This is day two and with buying two meals a day as in quesadilla and nachos came to $40. That quesadilla was also on the kids meal chicken tenders and fries were $18 for two meals a day and entrance to the waterpark with a family of two you’re spending about $125 and up to eat and to have access to the pool I come to Orlando about 3 to 4 times a year And this is by far the worst resort that I have stayed at not to mention our tub is filthy. I 100% Do not recommend all of the bars close at 6 PM which is insane except for draft but of course they are closed today. Last call for Food for the resort is at 6 PM. Yes, you can go off the resort to eat, but this is a resort where families come for vacation they should really accommodate us while we are here. We check out on Thursday I am ready to go now
I arrived at this Resort on April 15th I have been calling several weeks to make sure that they have the accessible room with a roll in shower because I'm traveling with my disabled daughter who's 27 years old. When I got to the resort I said is this room accessible it has a rolling shower yes yes we've got everything we're putting in one of our new Resorts I got to the room there was no shower chair and there was no bench my child is 27 years old and weighs about115# I weigh 115 lb my daughter cannot stand. I called the front desk and I said I need shower chair because you don't have a bench. I was told that they no longer supply that and there's no way they can supply that. So I had to give my child a shower without the necessary support we both needed. I've got major back pain from this horrible treatment. I'm right now in the doctor's office because I am suffering from severe back pain from trying to stand my child up and showering her all by myself this is the worst experience that I've ever had with any resorts I've been traveling with my child for over 25 years and never ever visited a timeshare or a resort that did not have a rolling shower with a bench or offered me a shower chair I am letting anyone who has a disabled person in their party do not ever stay here it's horrible and the people are not nice.If I could give them no star I would
This company is nothing but thieves the bank is certain to withdraw your money from your account after you have given your approval then the company steals your timeshare protect your money for amemorable vacation with your loved ones don't let them jeopardize you future vacations with your family, beware to share
I knew the moment I signed up for this I did a mistake but I wanted my deposit back, a free show and the $75 giftcard. Everything that everyone says on here is what happened to me. I said no and they kept pressuring me. I felt almost violated from the way they treated me. I was at the Smokies resort and Amy showed me around and talked about the resort and timeshare. She seemed really nice and she said she worked with the owners and not in sales. When I said no to the outrageous price she got a manager. Her name was Lori and she kept making the price go lower and lower to down to $7000. She made a rude comment that I wouldn’t take it if it was free. I should have said yep I wouldn’t because of how you pressure me and your rudeness!Then Lori left and Amy kept reminding me how this would help me save money on my vacations. Then they try to get you to try it without a contract. I said no to that too. 90 minutes turned into 4 hours I felt drained and depressed all dayWished I looked at the reviews beforehand
