Couldn’t give zero stars

Couldn’t give zero stars. Employed Neive Ausgutin to be my barrister. 3.5k for the day. Not at any point did I feel she represented me. It felt like she was working against me. All she did was pressure me and push me. Surely there is a duty of care. Asked her to leave the room because I felt there was no trust.

Beware of scam

Had a presentation with the discounted room, already knew that Westgate timeshare was a scam but wanted to good deal. They kept me 2 hours and I was pressured by 3 different people when I declined the offer. Later the locked me out the room and almost made me miss my flight. Don’t let them fool you. SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

West gate

They are the worst to pushy my salesperson Mr Rick the biggest scammer of them all..ask would this be on credit he said No as of today it is reported on my credit report he lied about the useage of the time share contact with him is the worst. So if you ever come to Florida do not be sucked into buying a time share because it’s all a scam and be aware of Rick at west gate oh and they secretly run your credit without your consent. They promise you a bunch of lies.

An excellent Hotel

I recently stayed at the Westgate New York Grand Central Hotel and was very impressed with the quality of the accommodation and the hospitality and staff. Any questions were answered by their excellent Operations Manager Christina.I cannot recommend this hotel too highly.

Exhausting

We were pulled from the street one night by a promoter to attend the Westgate Timeshare presentation. He told us that we would get breakfast but he did acknowledge it was a continental Breakfast, in exchange for tickets to the gondola and Madame Tussaud’s museum. This wasn’t our first rodeo so we went. The promoter was explicit that it would be a 90 min presentation. By the 90 min mark we hadnt even seen the room. But let me start from the beginning. You arrive and they call your name, the host has you select your breakfast items. Don’t get the orange juice, it is like orange flavored gasoline. Idk why. Stick with the water. There was cereal and other breakfast bars. We ate our breakfast with our own personal host and had small talk, after maybe 45 mins, she started her planned speech. The standard questions about where we like to travel etc. we kept letting her know we had a newborn that we needed to get back to, so we just needed her to cut to the chase as to how much it is, so we just can make our decision. She didn’t. She went on and on, showing us the extremely wealthy ceo, as if that was supposed to make me feel better. Specifically pointing out that they are debt free, when ironically this was going to have us go into debt. I understand that they have a product to sell, and she did that well. She was very convincing and persuasive. After almost 2 hours, we finally saw the room that we would be getting. It was just average at best, for that monthly payment we could save that up, and stay somewhere nicer once in a while, vs holding a spot we can only use two weeks of the year. It is illogical. If we do have extra income, I’d rather save, or give donations than put it aside for future vacations that we may or may not have. I love staying in hotels. I don’t mind airbnbs or condos but my preference is to stay in hotels when on vacation. The host told us specifically that she wouldn’t send other people over to exhaust us, yet after we said no repeatedly, two or even three other people came over to try to convince us. After the 3rd hour of saying okay we need to go, our baby needs us, more and more people kept coming over to convince us. Eventually I showed them a spreadsheet of our finances and they left us alone and let us go. That made me realize that they are looking for people who are ignorant about their finances and aren’t concerned about it. We did get our prizes as promised, however I wouldn’t do it just for the prizes, the badgering is just unnecessary. We were so exhausted after, once we picked up our baby, we slept for 3 hours.

Westgate Las Vegas

During our stay at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort, we were strongly encouraged to attend a timeshare presentation, despite repeatedly expressing that we were not interested in making such a purchase. We agreed to attend what was presented as a 60-minute presentation; however, the sales team confiscated our IDs at the beginning and held them hostage, extending the presentation to over 3 hours. Throughout this extended presentation, we declined their timeshare offers at least 5 times, yet the sales team relentlessly pressured us with various options and repeated price reductions, wearing us down to the point of agreeing to the purchase. The information provided to us during the sales process was deceptive. We were led to believe that the timeshare would allow us to enjoy stays at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort on the Strip for many years to come, making it a long-term investment for vacations with our family. The sales team sold this to us to achieve our dream vacation; however, when we check in, we never receive the room we were shown during the presentation, which constitutes a massive bait and switch. It wasn't until after the purchase that we learned the timeshare didn't include stays at this property until we paid additional fees. We were also misinformed about the stability of the maintenance fees, which have increased significantly since the purchase and have further exacerbated the financial burden we now face. We've basically stopped using the timeshare because of all the extra fees imposed on us, making traveling more expensive than necessary. Having paid more than $16,000 and receiving only 4 vacations is hardly the investment in vacations these unethical salespeople promised. Westgate Resorts’ presentations reeks of fraud.

We went on a Tour of the Westgate…

We went on a Tour of the Westgate Vacation Villa in Orlando Fl June 8, 2025. We did express interest and wanted price information, after reviewing prices we felt at this time we were gonna pass. Our sales rep Jeremy Spivey would not accept "no" and bdcame very rude, stating if we could afford a trip to Paris we could afford this, also stated we were wasting his time. We will thanks to him never purchase from Westgate and will upgrade our Wyndham account.

Pyramid scheme

My wife has a heart of gold and I should've known not to let her get her hopes up. We go in and they kept us in their for nearly 4 hrs! We were there for my birthday and of course offered discounted tickets, strike 1. We get to the resort and from right then on it was nothing but pressure, strike 2. They did everything and anything to try and get us to buy and they managed to get my wife. We couldn't afford it anymore and they did a modification on timeshare. They lowered the cost and monthly pay and and let us go. I just found out almost 3 years later of not paying, that I have 2 timeshares so they made me buy another. The guy today said for me to cancel the first 2 I had to buy another one and pay on that so almost $5k just to not get out of a timeshare. DON'T GO WITH THESE PEOPLE!

I am very disappointed with Westgate…

I am very disappointed with Westgate Resorts. During the sales presentation, I was promised benefits and conditions that were never fulfilled.I was told this was an “investment” I could easily resell or cancel, which turned out to be completely false. That was the biggest lie. I have been unemployed since July, and when I called months ago to ask for help because I can no longer afford the payments, no one offered a solution. They only told me to find a buyer, even though during the sales pitch they assured me that Westgate would always be the first option to purchase my property. Another lie.Now I am stuck with a mortgage that I have no choice but to pay, even though I can’t even afford my rent. The real cost is also much higher than what was initially presented, due to hidden fees and maintenance charges.I have sent countless emails and messages, even to my assigned notary, and no one responds, except with letters saying that I must pay the monthly fee.Customer service has been unhelpful, giving evasive answers without any real solutions. I feel completely misled from the very beginning. I would strongly advise anyone against investing their money with Westgate.
