I am a new Beazer homeowner. All of my kitchen appliances are from whirlpool. I have been in my home a little over a year and the refrigerator has begin to have issues. It will not get cold as it should. I called whirlpool several times pleading for them to waive the diagnostic fee since I am a new customer with them however I was charged $130.00 only for the rep to take a knife scrape the ice on the freezer and "diagnosis" the problem. Of course the issue doesn't fall under my warranty and now the final bill is $400. This is supposed to be a new refrigerator! This is completely unacceptable! They have already been fully paid for their appliances thus it makes me feel like they don't care how this is an inconvenience to me and my family. I am very disappointed!
I have been waiting five weeks for a bracket for my four year old whirlpool washing machine. Apparently, they could not find this part and me, and probably thousands of other people with the same problem and no clue when it would appear, and if it would be manufactured, after many calls with whirlpool and associates I saw that their right hand did not know what their left hand was doing, and there was a lot of chaos. Worst company I ever worked with and will never buy whirlpool or any of their other machines.
I had the misfortune of buying a Whirlpool refrigerator Model WRT311FZDW00 that FREEZES EVERYTHING IN THE REFRIGERATOR SECTION. Several retailers said that they stopped carrying this refrigerator because of the freezing issue, which is quite common. Whirlpool does not back their products and do not care about their customers. Now I must get rid of this refrigerator and buy a new one.
Hire customer service representatives that care. I recently purchased a refrigerator through Home Depot and scheduled a delivery through them as well. The first delivery appointment was rescheduled to a later date which wasn't a big deal but when the refrigerator showed up it had extensive damage to the front of it. The driver took it back to the warehouse and said we would need to schedule another time for a replacement item. Unfortunately Maytag/Whirlpool wanted to schedule for a time that's 10 days from now. I've already been waiting for 12 days and have been without a fridge for 2 weeks. When I finally spoke with a "customer service" rep she was extremely rude and completely unwilling to work with me or help me in anyway shape or form. She even hung up on me. I will admit I got a little heated due to my frustration but never once did I use offensive language or anything like that. My wife even called back and spoke with a different rep and was also treated very poorly. Seriously Maytag/Whirlpool you can at least act like you care about your customers. As a side note I think it's ridiculous how these big companies are real quick to take your money for a product but they take their sweet little time giving a refund when you cancel an order.
Bought new whirlpool appliances. I despise them and wish I could send them back. The new dishwasher has leaked, the frig doors close automatically, seems to be no room in the frig. Can't get the glass top stove clean even with glass top cleaner. I feel these new appliances have too much technology. Doesn't seem like they are made for lots of regular use. They are just a hassle. Hate them. My mom had a whirlpool washer for 26 years. I had one for 7. Seems things are made now more for looks instead of quality. I don't like the way they look. I don't like the way they function. I bet they couldn't even make one that would last like they did years ago. I know I won't buy whirlpool again. Lesson learned.
Whirlpool products are literally pieces of crap, we purchased all new Whirlpool products for our new home and 5 years down the road all of the pieces of crap have broken down. PLEASE BUY ANY OTHER PRODUCT BUT THIS TRASH.
NO stars. Garbage. $700 refrigerator and in 2.5 years it stopped working. Spent over $100 on food I had to toss; another $100 on cooler and daily ice for a while; another $100 on a mini-fridge. Didn't want to repair since I am moving and can't take (oh, and I had a buyer but of course lost her when this happened.) NO help from whirlpool. They just really don't care. Just built-in obsolescence. Who on earth buys a refrigerator thinking it will only be good for 2.5 years. Wish I had come here, but I trusted the name. Silly me. Never again!
