Purchased brand new Dr horton home,First mistake. Came with Whirlpool side by side refrigerator. 4 months refrigerator completely stopped freezing and cooling. Took whirlpool repair 1 week to come, said compressor and whirlpool takes at least 10 days to send. Well the repair has the part and won't come out until the 19th. Bad product and service
I have a whirlpool dishwasher. After using it once or twice A week for just over a year, it stopped working properly. It sounded as though I was turning it on as normal, but then it never cycled through to start cleaning. When I called customer service they said that since I was out of the warranty. I had three choices. I could go ahead and get an entirely new dishwasher. I could pay them several hundred dollars to have someone come look at the dishwasher with no guarantee of repair. Or go on a monthly payment plan that would also cost several hundred dollars. I don’t think it’s right that Consumer agencies allow billion dollar companies like this to have such poor customer service and demonstrate such a lack of care about their customers
Do Not!! I repeat Do Not!!!!!!!! Purchase a newer washer or dryer from Whirlpool. I would not even give them a star actually if it would let me. I honestly would do negative numbers that would be being generous. They make expensive pieces of garbage to put it nicely.!!!! Literally. The new washers and dryers state they now have all this new " supposedly " energy saving features is a sham. How is anyone saving money when you have to literally wash your clothes 5-6 times for them to smell or even feel clean. When i go to my vacation home that still has an old apt size washer with agitator and dryer above from either the 70s or 80 s and I can wash and dry my clothes completely in one try. The clothes come out smelling clean feeling clean and wow surprisingly are clean. That is never the case with the new machines. I should have taken my 3000 and flushed it down the toilet for all the good these machines do. I will def be looking for older machines from a closed down laundry mat or anything like that, I will get more bang for my buck and a product that actually works.
There are such bad small parts inside this big fridge so they easily fall off and difficult to put back in place! So stupid and cheap Whirlpool must be to make this! Difficult to read to understand how to regulate the temperature up or down!Easy to do that wrong so the food turns too warm! Such a waste, silly Whirlpool!
want to share the nightmare I’ve had dealing with Whirlpool and Nebraska Furniture Mart.I bought a clearance fridge from Nebraska Furniture Mart for my elderly parents, who live on a fixed Social Security income. I was told the fridge had no issues and was only returned because the previous customer changed their mind. Unfortunately, that turned out to be completely false.Shortly after, I left town, and when I returned, my parents told me the fridge wasn’t working properly. The food in the refrigerator section kept freezing, while the freezer section wasn’t cold enough to keep ice cream solid. Since May, I’ve been in constant contact with Whirlpool and Nebraska Furniture Mart. They’ve sent technicians repeatedly and even replaced a part, yet the same issues persist. Now, they claim the fridge is “working as designed” and instructed us not to put food on the top shelf to avoid freezing. I’ve purchased fridges before and have never been told I couldn’t use all the shelves.After this experience, I’ll never buy from Whirlpool or Nebraska Furniture Mart again. My parents can’t afford to waste food with the rising cost of groceries, and every week I have to call Whirlpool, wait on hold for over an hour, only to be told the same excuses. They even warned they would charge me $75 for another technician visit.This has been a frustrating and disappointing experience, and the lack of accountability from both companies is unacceptable.
I bought a Whirlpool top load washer exactly one year ago after researching. Per my research, Whirlpool washers lasted longer with less maintenance. So I bought Whirlpool Type 589-21, model numberWTW5057LW0. Last week the washer stopped mid cycle and would not spin. I tried all the things such as resetting etc with no luck. I just paid $125 for a technician to tell me I need a new control panel and lid lock which sounds pricey. He will let me know how much I will need to pay additionally for this. He did say that these models were built during the pandemic and he has had to work on about 8 of these washers for this problem in the last couple years. I do have a home warranty with “Choice” but they are horrible and I need my washer in service asap. Be aware!!!!
Whirlpool is 100% a trash company and especially B' S warranty scam, my refrigerator came brand new with a home purchase and only 7 months old / a basic upper freezer door and lower regular door, IT CLUCKS CLICKS POPS AND MOANS AND THE ROBOTS WHO HAVE A B'S JOB ALL SAY ITS NORMAL, JUST A NASTY COMPANY TO NOT JUST REPLACE IT.... MR OR MRS WHIRLPOOL WOULDN'T PUT IT IN THERE HOME...
Purchased a Whirlpool dishwasher model #WDT750SAHZ0 on 5/22/20. Started to leak 5/23/2024, called Whirlpool said it would cost me $125 service fee plus parts and labor. Whirlpool sells me this POS and now wants to screw me again. I will never buy a Whirlpool product or anything they make again.
My whirlpool portable dishwasher is leaking because the seal inside the part that connects it to the faucet is cracked. Was told that was not a part on the parts list and would have to buy a set of 167.00 hoses to replace a small rubber seal?. C
5 years ago I purchased a maytag washer which is made by whirlpool and warrantied by whirlpool with a 10 year warranty. I recently began having issues with and called whirlpool, only to find out the 10 year warranty only covers a few things. They told me my best option was to purchase a protect plan for $32.00 which included a 12 month agreement to $32.00 a month for 12 months. They said if it couldn't be repaired it would be replaced. I agreed and paid $32.00. The following day a service tech came out and found the issues however it couldn't be repaired as they didn't make the parts anymore. Remember, its only 5 years old! They told me it was a good thing I did the protection plan cause it would need replaced. The third party warranty company that whirlpool set me up with called and refused to honor a replacement and instead, they said they were canceling the policy and refunding the $35.00 because it was actually $35.00 a month not $32.00. Now I'm stuck with a broken washer and have to purchase a new one. Never again will I have any appliances in my home that are a whirlpool brand. They are junk and you don't get support from whirlpool when their product fails.
