Review Time
Reserved a car. Got an email saying no one can get their hands on that car as we reserved it. They left a voicemail saying they’ve sold my car. Called back and office is shut. So wrote on their Facebook and they’ve now muted me and deleted my comment. They’ve also listed it on gumtree after telling me it’s sold. No response from company. Unfortunately for them reserving it and the confirmation is legally binding. So further action will be taken as they sold my car that I reserved. Or maybe they are lying about selling it as they listed it elsewhere after leaving a voicemail saying it’s sold.
Reserved a car with W J King, paid the £99 deposit and arranged to go the next day to buy. Someone else turned up and they sold my car to them even though I had reserved it and paid the deposit. Don't trust this dealer they cheat their buyers and the reservation system is a lie.
I bought a new car last May from the Bromley branch and have had a persistent and worsening issue with the break giving a loud whine whenever used. I have taken it in to the service department and both times they have not fixed the problem and been largely dismissive of the issue. The first time they said there was nothing wrong, the second time they said they had fixed it, charged me and the problem has persisted. The manager of the service department is now ignoring my emails and calls.
I have been a regular customer with WJ King when I got my first car in 2020, my beautiful Kia Picanto 2017. I am always receiving updates, offers and reminders of when my seasonal safety checks are, MOTs and events happening. But today 29/12/2021 was what assured me that my choice and me recommending WJ King to friends and family was right. I had my seasonal safety check and I had some scratches on the car which most of them weren’t caused by myself, but I had asked the personnel who took my details and key about having it painted, he saw the scratches and said he will see what service dept and garage men say, he also suggested other alternatives of where to go. Very grateful. Upon collecting my car I was amazed, surprised and very very much grateful and appreciative. The service team and garage/ car wash personnel did a brilliant work on my car. The scratches were gone even the one I asked about. To me that was the cherry on top on year 2020. I had to call WJ King service team in Gravesend to let them know how they made my day. I meant every word and thank you on that phone call and I will mentioned this day to all I know. Thank you to everyone working at WJ King Gravesend branch especially the service team- God bless you all. Very much appreciated. 100% recommend everyone for buying car new and used from them.
I visited the Bromley branch and they did a good job servicing my car but I got a parking ticket when they left my car on the road one day while it was under their care. The ticket had mysteriously disappeared when I took my car home so I had no knowledge about it until I got a letter from the council saying the fine was double at £110. Despite being the ones that got the ticket, WJ King refused to pay the full amount. I appealed the ticket but the council hold the car owner responsible for any tickets irrespective. Very disappointed that the garage would not cover the cost of a ticket that was entirely their fault! They admitted this has happened in the past and the tickets went missing on those previous occasions- be warned that this could happen to you too.
Bought the car 5 months ago.... told me they serviced it... fuel line exploded off the engine they tried to blame it on someone else. Tracking has been going on it from day 1 I asked them months ago and nothing now its gone they won't do anything...they wanner charge me for service to do tracking and fuel.line..... they are a joke...going to trading standards... suppose to valet it...I found womens make up in the back.... woolwich wj Kings ur a joke...disgusting selling new cars at a year old like this..paid 11,400 cash and this is how u treat ur customers.... tell everyone to avoid u..... look at the response from wjking woolwich... i wasnt unhappy with the car..ur service being lied to and u not doing your jobs i am unhappy with... wj king trying to get out of it out again ..laughable dont buy from wjking..... my car aint the problem it is the lying staff who sold it to me ,,, never done what u was suppose to and yet again shocking customer service... its WJ KING WOOLWICH i am unhappy with... learn to not lie sell the car how it is suppose to be sold and do ur jobs. never again i tell everyone to stay clear buying from
I saw a car on line and booked an appointment for today for a test drive.Rebecca was the salesperson who dealt with us and I have to say she was very attentive, professional and put me and my husband at ease.I am pleased to say that I purchased the Peugeot from the Sidcup branch and can’t wait to pick it up.
My Vauxhall insignia had a full service 3 weeks ago at WJKing Bromley. A few days later , engine light came on.Took it to local garage as it was 75% cheaper for the diagnostic. Found an issue with one of the oil sensors . Instructed to get one in and do the work.When the mechanic was replacing the sensor, he said to me : You need to service your car. I asked why? And he pointed at the oil filter.It was old.. The car had a Full service less than 2 weeks ago, and on the paper work the oil filter has been changed??? I have escalated it to Vauxhall.Not to mention that WJking's complaint email is DOWN .Avoid the Bromley garage. Always used the garage in Farningham. Excellent service and work ethics. Unfortunately, due to work commitments this time I had to use the Bromley one.BIG MISTAKE
