Shame on you WJ King

Having lived within a few hundred yards of the King family home and a WJ King showroom for 35 years, we decided to buy local. Unfortunately the showroom only display Vauxhall and the car we want is a Suzuki. So it was off to JW King at Bromley, Kent. We spent more than 20 minutes walking around 2 models in the range and discussing the 'pros and cons' and the colour we wanted, all within eye contact of 3 salesmen, one of whom was on the telephone just 20 feet away. Not one of them acknowledged us! By coincidence, the previous day we had seen a member of the King family shopping in Bluewater. I am sure this member was treated with more courtesy by the staff there than we were shown in her company's showroom. We did not expect to be 'fawned' over or given the excuse 'it's due to Covid-19'. All we wanted was to spend many 1000's pounds on a new car. So it's now further down into Kent to find another Suzuki dealer - with better trained staff!

I have to say the experience I received from Peter in Kia's Service Department in Sidcup was fantastic. They arranged to collect and deliver my car and nothing was too much trouble for them and they sorted out the problem I was experiencing under the 7 year warranty without any hassle.

I am only writing this review because my brother and I have always been given such an atrocious service by Glyn Hopkin Kia Romford close to home, so much so I have never purchased a new car from them.W J King Kia Sidcup, on the other hand have always gone above and beyond to give my brother and I an exemplary service.We have purchased 3 Kia’s from W J King Kia Sidcup and I have never been solicited to write a review, and it has never come up in any conversation from them.I purchased my first new Kia Picanto-1 from W J King a 16 plate, and have just purchased a new Kia Picanto-2 21 plate. When I purchased my 16 plate I had 2 tiny minor hick ups which were dealt with to my complete satisfaction, and because of the exemplary service we get I would not have the audacity to mention them in my review other than they were sorted, now that is what I call service.I purchased my first Kia Picanto-1 with the help of Jack Edwards’s, sales consultant a great lad.My brother purchased a top of the range Kia Ceed from Stuart Atkinson sales manager, and Stuart sold me my new Kia Picanto-2 21 plate.I had a query on a Sunday and although Stuart was not working that day, a very helpful sales lady Terri phoned Stuart on Sunday to update him, and first thing Monday morning Stuart phoned me. It was more by luck certainly not judgement, my brother and I purchased all 3 cars at the best time in their sales cycle for us and for W J king, other Kia dealers have always struggled to even match W J King prices let alone beat them. My Brand New Mokka Launch From Wade @ Welling

I have just taken delivery of my brand new 2021Vauxhall Mokka from WJ King in Welling. I returned back 3 years later to Welling only, because I knew Wade Ansell was still working there. Wade looked after me in 2018 when I purchased my first Mokka and gave me a great deal. Where else was I going when I was going to trade I’m after 3 years? Of course Wade and WJ King Welling! What a fantastic car, showroom and salesman. I went in looking at the Mokka and ended up purchasing the showroom Mokka, top of the range Launch in voltaic blue. Wade was as always great to deal with, remembering my wife and I from 3 years ago and giving us a great deal on my 2015 SE Mokka. The car was presented to me in under 2 weeks and I absolutely love this redesigned Mokka and recommend it it anyone who loves Vauxhall and their Mokka. Once again, a perfect experience, especially from Wade! Thank you WJ King Welling! 😃😃😃😃

Cash Buyers Beware !!!!

Made a Genuine Inquiry with W J King Vauxhall Dartford Branch - Part of the  about the purchase of Pre Reg / Used Vehicle (21 Plate) Insignia on their Website that has just become available for Sale. I was told that I could buy the Car Today and Remove it from the Market Today but was not able to Collect it until the 12 July 2021 thus making my Car a Year Older and reducing Its Part Ex Value ( They Said they Would Give Me Only £6500 In July making me pay more Now In Cash. I have had my Car 17 Plate Astra with 28k Part ex valued with my Local Vauxhall Dealers From £7000 -£7200 and Competitor Arnold Clark at £7500 ). I was willing to drive 250 miles to the dealership to buy the New Car with £14000 Cash and Part Ex Current Vehicle (also bought in Cash from Drive Vauxhall ) Sales employee told it was not possible because they can not release the vehicle for 3 Months. If This is a Genuine Sales Procedure that Your Network Sales Employees implement and operate to, within your dealer Network, then I am Happy to Take my Hard Earned Money Elsewhere and Spend it with one of you Competitors. I save my money and never purchase anything on credit; but it is quite clear and apparent this is not the sort of customer W j King want or need. Literally one the worst Genuine Customer Experiences I have ever had. This should have been the 3rd New Vauxhall I bought in the Last Decade but sadly your dealers sales tactics are discriminatory against Genuine Cash Buyers !

I have been taking my car to WJ King for its annual service and MOT since new and they have always been exceptional. As with all new cars, the prices of the service can fluctuate sometimes, but they have always been open, honest and truthful.

I am amazed by how well I was treated at the Welling site. I bought a brand new Suzuki Swift and part exchanged my vehicle. Sales consultant, Wade delivered exceptional customer service and as I was new to finance plans, he gave me a detailed breakdown of the service and answered all my questions I had. He was not a Suzuki salesman but he managed to learn about the key features of the car and when I went to collect the car today, he showed me (through the car window) on how to use its features. He went above and beyond to ensure I was happy! I was also amazed by safe the team was when I came to collect my new car today. The team demonstrated great customer service and continued to meet government guidelines. Staff were wearing full PPE and social distanced from myself and their colleagues. In the process of part exchanging and collecting my new car, the team safety directed me to my new car and ensured I was happy with the new car before I drove off. Cannot recommend Wade and the Welling team enough. Thank you so much!

Exceptional customer service.

I would like to let you know about the exceptional customer service I received on the purchase and pick up of my vehicle today. I purchased my vehicle from W J king at Rochester. My sales representative was a lady called Louise. Louise was nothing short of exceptional. She was excellent, she helped me with everything I needed to know, kept me updated every step of the way, and was happy to answer any questions I had. I truly can’t remember the last time I received such great customer service!! You are very lucky to have Louise on board. Please pass this feedback on to her please. Booked an appointment a month ago (WJ…

Booked an appointment a month ago (WJ king garage Woolwich) .I had a fuel leak from the leak off pipe because the clips were missing . I told them where the leak was and I wanted to pay for a new leak off pipe with the clips. I was charged 165 £ because they said they had to check were the leak was coming from although I told them myself.On top of that they said the new leak off pipe didn't come with the clips and I had to find them myself . They also charged me for the new leak off pipe anyway.
