Took car for mot was told my car needed…

Took car for mot was told my car needed new break discs and pads, which was untrue as local mechanic replaced them a month before, I know we are in a pandemic but really is the way to regain money lost??? I’m disgusted and got some bull excuse that my quote got mixed up, never again will I use your company, trying to steal from the poor for your own greedy pockets when times are hard enough already!!!

Recently purchased Seat

Just recently bought a Seat from the Sidcup dealership. This is now the 3rd car we have bought for my two sons and again received great service. Brian made sure we received a great deal on a used car and made sure the hand over was on time and the team made my son feel special as this was his first lease car. Would fully recommend and will be back to change again.

All Good at Bromley

I took my car into the Bromley garage for its annual service. No problems. It took a bit of time but that's to be expected for a full service and especially during covid. Customer support was great, and a 1st class service. Thank you so much for supporting your customers during this time.

dont trust them

This is a review of the service departmentI took my car in as had a warning light on from time to time while driving. I had a call to be told that the car was taken for a test drive but they were unable to find the fault. When I went to collect the car, I was told that the car was taken for a long test drive with the computer plugged in and no faults were shown up. Within a mile of driving home, the warning light came on, called while in the car and again was told that the car was taken on a long test drive “around the park”When I got home, I looked at the dash camera of the car and was shocked to find that despite been told a number of times that the car was taken for a test drive the only place the car had driven was into the workshop and back to the car park.Sent 2 emails to follow up on this, left 2 phone calls and was then told oh yes, we did not take the car for a test drive.This makes me wonder with other work that they say they have done have they done it or not, I have parted company with W J King and taken my business to another garage due to the pure lies and lack to customer service.

Truly outstanding service

Having dealt with a local VW dealership on more than one occasion recently, I thought the service I received was ‘good’, that is until my dealings with WJ King Dacia dealership in Dartford. In particular Mr Russell Ede. I have never experienced such outstanding customer support as received from Russell when purchasing a used VW with my son. Absolutely no pushy sales, no pressure to pay more than we had intended, no pressure to take out a PCP contract, just plain, honest service where we were not rushed in any way - even though it was very late in the evening on two occasions. Russell is an absolute credit to the company and has made a WJ King customer out of both myself and my son.

Zero interest to sell

Went to test a Hyundai Kona and Ioniq today at WJ King Bromley. My driver licence was with DVLA to get the address changed. I phoned twice and asked if that is going to be a problem, they said no. I provided a copy of the old licence but apparently they could not find me on the DVLA website, so I could not test anything. I asked to try with a different postcode (the new one), but they ignored me. Obviously enough, when I got back home I could indeed find my licence info with the different postcode. I just call that being super lazy and having 0 customer focus! That was on top of having to wait 30 minutes beyond my scheduled time and having a “sales rep” that was more interested in computing info on a computer than discussing about cars! It was like he was trying to sell us the monitor, not a car. No discussion about specs, what would be best for us, nothing! No thanks, I’ll take my money elsewhere!

poor customer service

I bought a Vauxhall Insignia from the Dartford Office and the customer service has been excellent. However, after 10 years I decided to buy a Peugeot from the Sidcup dealer. I bought the car in early September and was told to expect the car in the first week of November. After chasing them The manger told me the car would be built in November! A week later was told its being built in December and deliver would be 4 weeks later. I wrote and complained and they have ignored me. I bet they respond when they see this review!!!

OH DEAR!

Oh dear. Just saw 2 cars pull into a depot in Swanley on test plates, blue Kia and another blue car. I think they use it as a holding/storage centre? Being driven at high speed, you could smell the clutch burning as they waited for metal gates to open. Then sped off all over loose stones being kicked up. WONT BE BUYING A CAR FROM YOU!!

WJ KING Sidcup .. Steer Clear!!!!

I booked my Kia in for repair at WJ King Sidcup. Took it in on Thursday was told I would get a phone call by 15:00 to give me an update as to what was wrong and price of repair etc. No one rang me I ended up calling them to be told they needed to keep the car overnight and they would call me the next day. Friday, no call from them. I chased them up again. They told me that they are still trying to locate the problem they needed to strip down the turbo and asked my permission for them to go ahead. I gave them the ok. Saturday yet again no update call from them.. so I rung them again and was told it might be ready by noon on Monday. They needed more diagnostic to pin point the problem unfortunately, the diagnostic technician was not working on Saturday. Monday came no call from them yet again. So I rang them and I was told I would get a call back with in the hour with an update. Surprise surprise no call at all. I was fed up and frustrated by now. I headed to WJ king sidcup. My car ,which they told me was stripped down, was parked on the public highway.. it should have been in the workshop really, If it was being diagnosed and stripped down like they told me. It was clear, they had not done any work on my car. They have just fobbed me off. Blatant lies and horrible attitudes by the staff. Waste of time. I told them I was taking my car with me as obviously they were not doing any work on it. I am glad I did take it with me otherwise it would be sitting on the public road for who knows how long. People please stay away...
