Having experienced probably the worst customer experience I have ever had, anywhere, in terms of lack of response over a period of months from the WJ King Woolwich branch body shop [both to me and my car insurer] my car repair was handed to the WJ King Dartford body shop.Both Alison and Will were excellent, keeping me in touch with the part procurement, arranging a courtesy car, which was delivered and picked up and returning my car in pristine condition.The contrasting customer experience [from 0 star at Woolwich to 5 star at Dartford] leaves me bitter sweet overall. as it took eight months to get my car fixed, from assessment to repair. Judging by another Truspilot review I read about the Woolwich body shop, it is clear that my experience was not an isolated issue. Thanks Alison & Will. Great job. Much appreciated.
We were looking for a particular car when we saw one advertised on the W.J. King website. We contacted them to arrange a viewing the next day and I have to say the experience was a nice one. Terri Scammerton rang us as we had put this particular car on reserve and we arranged a test drive. Unfortunately this car had been sold so we went to the offices in Sidcup as there was one similar and I can honestly say there was no pressure to buy. We did a test drive and everything was arranged in a timely manner. We asked to pick up the car on the following Monday and this was arranged with no fuss or bother. I would definitely recommend this company to family and friends as they are so professional and helpful.
Avoid WJ King and especially the Woolwich branch at all costs - been a client of theirs for two years. Have now asked for a quote to repair a broken part and do not even come back to me. No way to locate their service manager (Michael) and even the central agents cannot do anything on this as apparently he is the most senior in the branch…awful service and it seems they don’t even care about getting new business. In total, I have called them 6 times and their answer was that they will pass this on to the service manager of the branch and that he will then call me (never happened).AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Got my first motability car from Steve at Suzuki in Welling. He was an absolutely lovely chap and made the whole process super easy for me. Answered every single question I had in a simple straight forward manner and was really friendly. Genuinely made the whole experience effortless. Thank you Steve. It was an absolute pleasure.
Thanks to Sam who was lovely, friendly, professional, and extremely helpful. I was able to test drive a Cupra V2 formentor today and she made the whole process smooth and straightforward. She also went through all information patiently and thoroughly. I would recommend speaking to Sam for enquires and sales. Thanks again.

Went to WJ King Rochester , was immediately greeted by one of the sales staff , Matthew Lee , who was very polite, knowledgeable and very patient.Asked if I wanted a drink which I thought was a very good gesture.Spoke to Matthew who was very helpful , but made no effort to force a sale.On the second visit I viewed a vehicle which I had shown interest in and to which Matthew was very helpful in hid guidance .So , finally decided to buy and am 100% pleased with my purchase.Matthew , was very helpful , polite at all times and nothing was too much trouble , I thank him for his patience and knowledge. This guy really knew what he was talking about in all aspects of my purchase.I would 100 % recommend this company and especially Matthew Lee for their outstanding service
I was looking to sell my car and found that WJ King offer to value and buy cars. I contacted them using their online form, specifically stating what I wished to do. I got a call from an advisor and booked a date and time to take my car into one of the local branches. I also received an email confirming this. However on the morning of the appointment I had a call from a representative saying they had a booking on their system but he didn't know what it was for. So I had to tell him, to which he replied "unfortunately there is no one available to do this until around 9th Jan". Consequently had to abort the whole thing. Waste of my time. Also trying to use their livechat is pretty useless as always comes up no one available, leave a message.Unfortunately although I didn't have an actual buying experience, can't say I'm impressed. Only thing stopping me giving 1 star at least I got a call.
