Review Time
I have just bought the Youshiko Home WiFi weather station and although it may work ok ( not much more that a thermometer) it’s screen is virtually useless. Unless you look at it from a very precise angle it is impossible to make out anything on the screen. Every time I want to see something I have to get up from where I am sitting, otherwise I can just about see the time. This does connect to Wi-Fi via the App but I am not really sure why because it does nothing.
Today my YC9470 display went dim. The unit is 3 years old. Not the backlight which was fine, but the numbers. I contacted support and they responded within an hour. They made me aware that when powercycling the unit I also needed to remove the CR2032 battery. I have to admit that I had completely forgotten the existence of this battery. This did effect the restoration of the display and all is good now. They also recommended that I replaced the battery as well. Am very impressed with the support of this company.
YC9470 7-in-1 sensor was not sending temperature data to the indoor console. While this was disappointing, at 10 months old it was still in warranty. I contacted customer service, and fully reset the system with their assistance, which still didn't work. A replacement unit was quickly agreed and despatched without quibble or delay.Couldn't have been more helpful. Back up and running within a few days, start to finish.

Had an issue with weather station which I bought 3 years ago, suddenly started displaying random, very high rainfall readings. Emailed customer service and they responded the same evening. Tried the fix they suggested and it seems to have solved the issue. Impressed with good customer service.
Needed help from customer services in setting up weather station. They could not have been more helpful and polite and sorted me out immediately. Also the chap I dealt with was very jovial but in a professional manner. All customer support staff should be like him and trained to his standards.
The weather station is excellent and the customer service is also excellent. The first customer service advisor was very good, but I needed to do some further steps. The second advisor who was technically very good and got the internet connection working, was found to be abrupt and rude by my pa who was dealing with the call.
