The weather station is excellent and the customer service is also excellent. The first customer service advisor was very good, but I needed to do some further steps. The second advisor who was technically very good and got the internet connection working, was found to be abrupt and rude by my pa who was dealing with the call.
Spent some time researching products on the market. Liked the look of the YC9471 due to the large screen display. Arrived on time well package / meets / exceeds all my expectations. Well made working as expected and VERY impressed with the quality.Contacted Youshiko for help setting the device up and had an email within 9 minutes and phone call with back up email shortly after. Exceptional speed of response to my enquiry, unsure if ANY supplier has ever contacted me as fast before. Extremely impressed and have already recommended to a friend who is now tracking the data provided by the weather station. I have had a very old manual station for a number of years, it is amazing to see how the data produced by both is identical. Uploading the data saves me the task and allows comparison between the other units based locally which is extremely interesting and useful. FAULTLESS service 100% recommendation to others as to the efficiency of this company and the quality of products it sells.THANKS
I had a problem connecting my weather station to WeatherCloud. Like the other customer I sent an email in the morning and received a phone call two hours later. The very helpful gentleman resolved my problem in just a few minutes and I am now fully connected. That is what I call service.I bought my weather station because it was made in the UK and have not been disappointed with it. I would strongly recommend this company.
I recently purchased a Professional 5-1 Weather station from Youshiko. I noticed, during the recent stormy weather, that the barometric pressure and wind speed readings were hugely inaccurate. I contacted consumer services and they suggested some quick fixes like replace Batteries, reset sensor, reset display and ensure the sensor is firmly fixed. I informed customer services that I had tried all those fixes and the readings were still inaccurate. Youshiko replied saying that was not possible and it must be a setting issue however send your item to Youshiko with proof of purchase it will be checked and if required it will be replaced. I returned the item but received an e-mail saying a bracket was missing, some screws ( which were in the locating holes with nuts on ) and it was not in its original packaging therefore they could not sell this item again! They said they would deduct 80% of the original price to cover seller loss! I replied saying I wasn't willing to accept that and under the Consumer Rights act they had supplied me with an item that was not fit for purpose and as my Statutory rights under a goods contract had not been met. I had the right to a repair or replacement and would be happy to accept either. Youshiko replied with "We know all the laws" and "it was a simple Tech. issue which could be fixed in advance settings". They reiterated "This item cannot be sold again" and finished with " This return is closed. There is not much further we can do." Luckily I have been able to obtain a full refund through Amazons A-Z Guarantee having given them all the details and letting them make the appropriate decision.
Hello Weather station customers - I have been purchasing this product for 6 yrs and they only last on average 8 months , max. My fault free experience lasted 14 months - out of warranty and binned. My last purchase lasted 8 months - sent for a replacement (I was then sent a secondhand device - thinking out loud the new device 1st purchased may have been secondhand) - this item lasted 11 months - asked for another device and told OUT of Warranty - but the unit was with me for only 11 months and still under warranty - I will never purchase this product again - it states on web page no quibble warranty - not true from my experience. I am in contact with trading standards ...
Showed great patience in helping me set up my Model YC9471. For me the manual was a bit of a mystery especially setting the sun rise sun set function and also setting up an account with (wunderground.com). The instruction diagrams did not always agree with what was shown on my PC,But with his help all got sorted, now only have to learn how to get the best out of all its functions
Very clear display, much more than just a clock, nice quality finish. When I thought I was having a problem, contacted Youshiko UK and got an immediate reply; even though it was well out of warranty - 2 new batteries and display like new again. Very pleased to have product support.Also pleased it's so easy to use, no difficult start up or menus, just plug in the batteries and it does the rest. Recommended.
