I emailed Youshiko to ask which is the email address for their customer service (they have 4 different email addresses & it's unclear which is for product information). They did not reply so I asked again. They replied quote "leave us alone". I replied saying they must have sent that to the wrong company, & again asked what's the email address for their customer service to provide some very quick product information so orders can be placed. Unfortunately they have never answered so no orders can be placed.Update1: within 2 hours of leaving this review trust pilot sent the following "Youshiko Ltd would love to understand your experience better, so they’ve asked for more details about your review—like an order number or email. If we don’t hear from you within 3 days, your review may be taken offline."How many people have Youshiko done this to that they need to ask who you are? First Class customer service from Youshiko - my weather station went totally 'off-line' and I was having difficulty syncing the sensor with the display and also connecting to WiFi. I emailed the customer service team and they responded within an hour with detailed instructions for a complete reset - all worked and syste now connected and back on-line - fantastic service !
Was having difficulty getting the station set up on Wunderground system offline. Filled in the customer support on the website on new years eve not expecting a quick response. They phoned me up within the hour followed up the instruction with an E Mail and fixed it. Could not ask more. First impassion of the YC9470 weather station is good but only had it a few hours will do a proper review in a few weeks
Good customer support even during the holiday period. Had an issue with the remote sensor loosing it's connection, after a few attempts to resolve they sent a replacement sensor. No further issues and loving the weather station.
Weather Station Model YC9380I am very experienced with bad weather stations, ones that do not last very long.I have had this one for 3 hours! It is up and running smoothlyEverything about it, so far, is GOODEasy to assembleEasy to erectEasy to set upEasy to calibrateEasy to readEasy to maintainWell sealedCompletely weather proofSturdyEasy on the eyeWhat could possibly go wrong?I will tell you in two months!.7 Feb 2024And so, over 6 weeks later, despite 88mph winds and a complete freeze-up last night it is going strong
If you want a super weather station, this is for you.I walk everywhere, and like to keep an eye on the weather. Putting it together was easy. I had teething problems with connecting to the internet, but, after contacting Youshiko they talked me through what to do, all was good.Perfect Christmas gift, thanks Hubby x
If I could give no stars I would. I've had two outdoor YC1136 sensors fail, for the same reason, within 2yrs. The first was within warranty, so replaced. The replacement now also failed, for the same reason. Youshiko customer support has been arrogant and no help, accusing me of not installing it properly, and not maintaining it, despite my sending photos of the installation, and advising that the temperature/humidity sensor connections are corroded to the PCB board (they are NOT sealed against the weather, so poor design/manufacture). Searching online it's clear that I am not alone in having this issue, and Youshiko response to others has been the same (blaming owners of not maintaining their sensors). AVOID buying from Youshiko. I am taking legal action against Youshiko under UK Consumer Rights 2015 law.No doubt you will see Youshiko's response to this review, and get a sense of how they value their customers.Update - well folks isn’t it interesting that my review is the ONLY review here that they haven’t responded to, after my last comment. My review has been substantiated and verified by Trustpilot, Youshiko appears to have gone quiet? For interest folks, Consumer Rights law DOES apply here, I am pursuing this further. Moreover folks I have repaired my own weather sensor, as the Youshiko temp/humidity sensor PCB board was corroded due poor quality of manufacture. I have found a replacement sensor that connects, for the price of £15. Don’t waste time asking Youshiko.
