I bought a refurbished phone in cash from a retailer in London last November. When it arrived, I noticed what appeared to be a deep scratch on the back. After putting it in a wallet cover, I discovered that it was actually a significant crack. The phone prompted me to pay for every free app, including the ones from the company itself, and the messaging app didn't function. I reached out to customer support multiple times, and six different representatives assured me I could return the phone for a refund. However, when I visited the store, the manager refused to process my refund, claiming they didn't have the authorization to do so. I called the store's customer service, but the manager wouldn't communicate with them directly and insisted they call the store instead. I followed their instructions, only to find out that customer service couldn't even contact individual stores. It’s been four days of frustration with no resolution. I've learned that others who purchased 'refurbished' phones have faced similar issues, with the store denying refunds despite assurances from customer service. This ongoing problem seems intentional, preventing refunds and returns of defective phones. My advice is to avoid this retailer altogether!

After 40 minutes of the store manager discussing with the support team, I was told I would receive a new gift card via email within 48 hours. This never occurred, and after a week, I reached out again. I couldn't contact them by phone as there were no viable options. I spoke on live chat and was told the gift card would be issued within 48 hours, but it never arrived again. I tried multiple ways to reach out and file a complaint, but all were impossible.
I strongly advise against dealing with this service due to the unhelpful staff. Once you make a purchase, they refuse to exchange or refund. I mistakenly bought the wrong laptop and returned it the next day, but because a simple sticker seal was broken, they wouldn't allow an exchange. I wasn't even asking for a refund; I just wanted to switch it for a more expensive model. The young employee in the store tried to assist me, but I ended up with a Chromebook instead of a laptop. The response I received from the staff member at the desk was rude and dismissive. I will not shop here again, and I warn others to be cautious.
I attempted to order some laptops and a gaming device with my card on November 27th during the Black Friday sales. After creating my basket and attempting to finalize the order, it failed. I would caution future cardholders to be aware of this practice, as it seems to limit card usability during sales, which feels quite untrustworthy.
The customer service is incredibly disappointing. Do not trust them. They refuse to return the money you worked hard for after delivering to the wrong location (and the neighbor decided to keep it, then they suggest you go and collect it yourself, wasting your time and well-being). It’s better to shop locally! This response is unacceptable. It is the company's responsibility to ensure deliveries go to the correct address. Have they considered that sometimes people might not want to accept the package? They have broken the agreement. Please refund my money, which is £47.95.
Received incorrect parts for a very heavy bookcase (two left sides). The service is uncooperative regarding flexible collection times for their mistake, and there are no options for local drop-off. Customer support disconnected during live chat. I need a refund or I will escalate the issue to the payment service or consumer protection. This level of customer service is unacceptable.
This has been extremely frustrating! I placed an order for a jelly blox costing £20 for Christmas. I received a receipt stating it would arrive on December 1st. However, when I went to pick it up, I was told, "Sorry, 😒 we do not have this in our store. It hasn't arrived yet." I thought I would try again, but the same situation repeated itself every time for a WEEK! I wish they would provide updates or email me regarding any delays! This isn't worth my money!
