Frustrating Experience with a Defective TV

I purchased a television on December 29th, and within three weeks, the screen failed. I spent over an hour and a half trying to reach customer service, facing dropped calls and being sent back to the automated system. When I finally connected, I was informed that an exchange wasn't possible since all the replacement options I provided were out of stock. However, I had the app open and saw that those same TVs were available for same or next day delivery. I ended up buying another TV and arranged for delivery, but now I'm waiting for a refund. Additionally, my rewards card hasn't accumulated any points from transactions, as it keeps indicating a problem. I attempted to contact support about this issue too, but after nearly an hour, I decided it wasn't worth my time. I'm shocked at how little the support team seems to care.

Disappointing Experience with the Service

I reluctantly shopped at the service again recently, hoping to get a few larger items delivered on the same day. I usually prefer using another platform for smaller purchases, as I appreciate the convenience of collecting from lockers on my way home. I wonder if the store might consider adding lockers for items instead of just the click and collect option? This would help avoid situations where customers are wrongly accused of taking items that seemingly went missing after I received a notification that they were ready for collection! During my attempts to get a refund, I was told that I must have already picked up the item, and I would need to return to the store for them to check the CCTV against the supposed collector. I refused to do this and filed a complaint, and eventually, the service located the 'lost' item and issued a refund. On another occasion, I went to collect some small items from a different location, trying to avoid another frustrating experience. I sat down to connect to the store WiFi, and an unfriendly older woman approached me, asking if I needed assistance. I curtly replied that I would approach when I was ready! I then asked about available stock at the back, which seemed to annoy her even more. I've encountered friendlier staff at this location since, and while I miss the old paper catalog, merging with the larger store seems beneficial. I assume they are also expanding their selection of small electronics and home goods, which might reduce the need for the service. I believe lockers would be a suitable replacement for the space and wages the service desk occupies, allowing customers to pick up their items and continue shopping happily.

Order issues and unresponsive support

My order did not process as expected, and the support team was unresponsive. After multiple attempts to complete the call, my connection kept dropping. Was it my phone or their system? They returned the product, but I still haven't received a refund after five business days. Overall, the experience has been frustrating, slow, and unprofessional. I won't be purchasing from them again.

Failed Delivery Experience

I ordered a washer dryer with installation included, but the delivery person never showed up. They marked my item as delivered, but I have no idea what happened. I've attempted to contact the delivery person multiple times, yet they claimed to be just a couple of minutes away. My security camera didn’t capture anyone arriving at my door, and it seems they didn’t even come to my street. I made significant arrangements to be at the property, and now I’m stuck on hold for 40 minutes trying to resolve this issue!

Request for Appliance Removal

This isn't exactly a review but rather a request for the removal of a fridge freezer. I purchased a new one last week, but they couldn't take the old one due to ice remaining in the bottom. It's now free of water and frost, but no one wants to pick it up since it's not in the best condition. As I'm disabled, I can't move it out for collection by the local service.

Disappointing experience with staff at local branch

The staff members at the local branch were unhelpful and very rude. Both female employees showed a complete unwillingness to assist, making it a frustrating visit. I will not return to this location.

Received a used iron, very disappointing.

I ordered a new iron two days ago, and while it was delivered on time, the box had clearly been opened before. The cardboard lid showed signs of wear, and I noticed there was still water in the tank along with dried droplets on the exterior. It was evident that this item had been returned by a previous customer. I ended up returning it because the thermostat wasn't functioning correctly; even on the highest setting, it struggled to iron a simple t-shirt. When I inquired about the policy of reselling returned items, the staff couldn't provide an answer. Quite surprising, isn’t it?

Not a good investment due to faulty wheels.

This trolley is not worth the investment; while it was easy to assemble, the wheels are ineffective. I intended to use it on laminate flooring while on crutches, but it drags and slides instead of rolling smoothly, causing spills. I would recommend steering clear of this product.
