Would give them nothing if I could, as an engineer asking a simple technical question before installing one of there boilers however no one could give me an answer! So as you can appreciate we swerved that bullet and fitted another boiler that has a technical support that knows there product..Feel sorry for customers
Having contacted the warranty department, an appointment was made for an engineer to come and assess my boiler issue, (it was leaking water), I was advised by text message that the engineer was on his way, unfortunately his sat nav took him to the wrong location, luckily he was only a mile away, we redirected him and he arrived without further issue. He located the source of the problem, replaced the parts, tested to make sure everything worked, he worked quickly, efficiently, and tidily and left the kitchen spotless. I now have a fully working boiler and I am extremely grateful to Ariston and their Status Heating engineer for their prompt and efficient service.
All the engineers where (4 in total) Helpful and polite but I was 11days in total without heating and hot water I would have expected it to be sooner I have mobility problems and had to had to be very careful with the cables from the electrical heater I also was surprised it broke down given it was only a couple of yeas old as I did choose arisen for their good reviews but I am so happy it’s all working and hope I have many years with my Aristotle
I was asked to look at a Ariston Clas evo 30 either no heating but hot water absolutely fine. After checking appliance I told the customer to take out this rubbish boiler and replace it with something decent. They didn't agree so I called Ariston technical explaining what was happening, after I checked the Flow and return sensors that were good. I explained to technical that that heating side comes on for 10 seconds then off. He then said its the Pcb and or the pump but he couldn't say which one it was going to be. They gave me the part numbers and the pump was £310.00 pcb was £311 and som loose change £600 odd pounds for parts without my fitting charge.I told the customer do not spend thus change the boiler, but no I had to get the parts put them in then you can't take them back and the boiler carried on going off after 10 seconds. I then drained the system down disconnected the flow and return from the system and linked them and the same thing happened. The main burner was completely blocked with sludge etc.The boiler was then changed with a system flush filter and running when boiler was switched on.I spoke to Ariston and they said we only advise and they are not on site and are not responsible for the diagnostic decisions. Absolutely ridiculous personally if a boiler needs a pump and pcb at 600 quod they should say remove the appliance or we will fix it for a fixed fee. But they said no.Don't ever put in an ariston boiler or let anyone put one into your house as you will regret it and pay again what rubbish. Gas man Northampton.
