I initially reached out for help and was told that exceptions couldn’t be made. However, I was later contacted by an associate named Brandi via email, and she went above and beyond to resolve the issue by providing me with a gift card. Thank you so much, Brandi! We truly need more people like her.
I will never buy from this company again. They may have some good products and operators, but their policies and customer service are terrible. They sent me the wrong items and won't even let me exchange them so I can get the correct size! I reached out to customer service before the 30-day window closed to tell them they sent the wrong things but they didn't respond. When I contacted them again, they said the 30-window had closed (it is literally not even 2 days over, and includes the holidays). I only want to get the right items, but they won't allow an EXCHANGE when they were the ones who sent me the wrong size?? I contacted them before the window closed but they never wrote me back but now claim that they did, and that I did not confirm that I had the wrong item. I had already told them this in my original request for an exchange, why would they need confirmation again?What kind of business wants to stick it to you by forcing you to keep items that don't fit, not fulfilling your order, and then lying about contacting you and refusing to fill your order? One that doesn't deserve my business or yours.
Beware all products are listed in UK sizes, not US, no matter from which country you access the site. I was sent the wrong sizes because of this issue and now they won't exchange or refund because they were sale items. Absolute worst.
I want to thank Keri- she has been beyond amazing in assisting me in finding a perfect bra. She even emailed me other recommendations when they didn’t have my ideal size in the bra I was looking for. Truly only came back because of the outstanding and ease of customer service by Keri.
Add me to the long and growing list of people who have had their money stolen by this company. My returns (an aside: I had no choice but to return the items that didn't fit because they no longer allow exchanges, which is a baffling and hostile policy) were confirmed received by BN a month ago; returns confirmation email clearly states my refund will be issued within 10 business days. I messaged after 3 weeks and was told by customer service rep "Jada" it hadn't been long enough (it had - we were at 12 business days out at that point), and that I should wait until January 6. No surprise: it's January 6 and I still have no refund. Service rep "Jada" told me outright in their last email that I'd have better luck contacting my credit card company to file a dispute, so that's what I'm doing. I've shopped BN exclusively for well over a decade, but never again. Heed all these negative reviews saying the same thing! Avoid this company at all costs; they're straight-up thieves now.
More than 2 months they have my return and my money. I got several emails with the script about new system and how they do returns manually. Bla-bla-bla. Nothing happens. I do not recommend this company. Update:I received email from their customer service, where there were 3 options. I picked option 1 “ Refund as a Bare Necessities Gift Card in the amount of their refund.When they choose this option, please email them the $50 discount code below that has no exclusions towards their next purchase.”. And - nobody answered me.Then I received new email from new person “ we have two options available for you:A virtual MasterCard refund, which you can use anywhere MasterCard is accepted.A Bare Necessities gift card that can be used on any future purchases.As a token of our appreciation for your understanding, we will include a $30 coupon for use on your next order in your refund email, based on the option you choose from the ones listed above.”I wrote them back with the question what’s happening. And nobody answered me again.Then I received third email with “ We recently reached out to you through two phone calls and an email regarding the refund for your order BN24311440, totaling $37.88. Unfortunately, we have not yet received a response.” But NOBODY CALLED ME and NO OTHER EMAILS. And moreover - the refund is just a half of my order. I wrote them back. And again - nobody answered. It looks like the company is trying to steal my money.
Informed company immediately after purchase that my PayPal account had defaulted to an old address, and I was out of country and needed to change delivery. First, an AI email refused. A bit later, a new email generated telling me that they would forward on the case as the package hadn't been sent yet, and to dispute charges if it was not resolved. Then I never heard back, so I called, and was informed it had already shipped. I explained my situation again, and was told to dispute charges. I have disputed the charges and received a letter from my bank saying the company say I never contacted them, and kept everything! They delivered to an abandoned apartment building after refusing to update my address. I was able to download the literal emails telling me to dispute charges, and send them to Citi. If I had known they were this poorly run, I wouldn't have purchased in the first place. But to blatantly lie-never again. I've been trapped in this process since December and just had to send off everything to Citi again.Do not buy. Per their comment, you'll notice the didn't address the issue at hand. Lying. Thievery. Etc.
placed an order and after 3 weeks I never received it. I called them and they said it got lost and they don't know where it is and they are sold out of the lingerie I had ordered. Will never shop here again and that was my first time ordering from them and my last.
They confirmed receipt of my return in mid September. I’ve called three times to see where my credit is to no avail. It’s Nov 20. It appears they are NOT processing returns. Beware of Bare Necessities!
