Review Time
I purchased a boat from the Bass Pro in Grapevine Tx and had a terrible experience. My boat had to be ordered and i was kept in the dark pretty much the entire time. I had to call to find out if my order was processed or if the boat was even shipped. When i got there to pick the boat up I had to point out to them the trailer jack was damaged, the boat was missing a plug and the fuel gauge did not work. They told me the fuel gauge is not reading correct due to the boat not being level. They said it had 6 gallons of fuel in it. I refused to accept there bs response so they put more fuel in it and the gauge still read zero. They spent 45 min messing with it and got it reading . I got home and found out that the gauge is 6 gallons off which is significant because the tank is only 19.6 gallons. Also when i got home, i discovered they did not give me a key for my storage on the boat. So now i am dealing with trying to get a key. On my other boat purchases from express and skeeter, the boat came full of fuel and i had excellent customer service. A laughable thing is they didn't even give me a float for my ignition key. Small things such as a key float go along way to make the customer happy. Needless to say my next boat will come from a place that values the customer, not just their money.
I was wanting to purchase a 3 in 1 nosecone transducer for a ghost trolling motor from the Nashville location. I called to see if they had them in stock after the phone ringing for about 3mins. someone finally answered. The person I spoke with said I would have to call the Tracker marine center as they didn't carry it at the store so I did the person I spoke with said he was expecting to have some next week call back Monday. Called back Monday spoke to a lady this time she said they don't carry them you have to get from the store called the store the phone rang for over 5mins.this time I was told they didn't have it and didn't know if they would ever carry it.I did end up get from BPS online but only because no one else had it that place is a joke.
I would like to congratulate Bass Pro shops and Cabela's on what appears to be a genius diabolical selling technique. Last December, I took advantage of a 0% APR promotion to purchase about $650 in Christmas presents at Bass Pro Shops in Phoenix, AZ. Over the next couple of months, I couldn't understand why my payments were going against the 0% APR and not my 18% APR. According to Denise (TWV424) in customer service, that is because my payments go to the lowest APR first. The genuis here is that they can continue to charge the 18% APR on the balance that I thought I was paying and since I made the purchase before the end of my December billing cycle, that payment went towards the 0% APR also. Even more ingenious, according to Denise, I have no avenue to redress my grievance, and she cannot give out any information that might help me, as she said " It is up to the individual to do their own investigation". My hat's off to their organization. Oh, I almost forgot; there is a transcript of our conversation, but I can't have it. Congratulations, I never saw this coming. Moral of the story, pay off my Cabelas/Bass Pro card and cut it up. Use to love those guys.

Won't waste my time going in the place again, I keep swearing I'm thru with this place but I always gotta try one more time and they always leave me speechless. Notorious for lost leader items on sale they don't have, haven't had and have no plans on having. They've ran RCT warriors on sale for years and never have them in the stores, and don't have them available to ship. The associates in the stores are arrogant asshats. Not that its ok or acceptable to treat any customer this way but most gun stores don't snob you when your wanting to look at a $2600 benelli. But this bunch will, and have. I just went in to get a box of .45 defense loads for a new carry gun. While I was there I wanted to look at some scopes for my new Barrett M107a1. It was 8:30 and they'd pulled all the guns from behind the counter and everything was locked away and secure, but I guess they have some new policy where you can't look at a $2200 NXS or $3400 ATACR nightforce scope in the last hour the stores open, because I got told to get my ass away from the case and couldn't be in the area because they'd put the guns away. Well F bass pro shop !! Left the $50 box of .45 ammo on a end cap as I was leaving and my ass damn sure won't be buying a Nightforce scope there or a 50 cent licorice stick. I'm done with lost leader sales adds they never have, rude ass sales associates and managers that refuse to issue rain checks, and rude ass associates in general. I'll support my local small independent gun shops that appreciate a $2600 shotgun sale or $3000 optic sale. Never again will I set foot in this place !!!

Let me set the stage before I get into it. I am a full time RVer traveling the 49 states fishing every state. I looked and compared and finally decided on the 106 PDL. What a great fishing platform. I then found it online at bass pro where I am a pro club member and ordered it on January 30 with the anticipation of receiving it on the 8-10 of February. Now I pay my bills immediately so once I purchased it through my pro membership (bass pro credit card) I immediately paid it off not thinking about the nightmare that was about to unfold. The 8th came and went then the 10th and still no kayak. I called corporate bass pro and they said it shipped on the second. Now I must tell you that I move every 2 weeks and had allocated enough time for the shipment to arrive. Now I’m out of time and had to extend my time at the RV park that I was in and cancel my next RV park, the total cost of $1700. Which at the time I figured what the heck I’m getting my kayak that’s all the matters. Bass pro uses a shipping company by the name of ABF shipping for their kayaks. So I called ABF shipping to find out where my kayak was. They said they had a lot of crates in Dallas and it should be expedited for the 14th. When the 14th came and there was still no kayak I called them back and now they have lost the kayak. How can you lose 116 pound kayak? At any rate I have extended here and they have lost the kayak and bass pro just canceled my order. They are sold out now and I have $2000 of my money and I have no kayak and am out $1700 for extending and canceling my next RV park. I am beyond frustrated. My Google reviews get over 250,000 hits and I feel bad but I’m going to have to review bass pro and ABF shipping for this. I’m sure the people will see it and not order from Bass Pro. Also when I called corporate Bass Pro their reply was to offer me a $20 gift card a 1% hush-hush fee to try to appease me and make me feel better. I literally laughed and said that was a slap in my face it wouldn’t even put a gas in my truck to go to pick it up at Bass Pro. $3700 out of my pocket and no kayak.

Purchased 2 shirts online for a gift and they sent me the wrong size. Admitted it was their mistake but won't give me credit to purchase another untill I return the shirt. This will be way pass the time for the gift. Now I have to wait for a credit to purchase a shirt and on top of that pay for shipping? I will never shop here again!
