Toni was trying her Best to make a Sale, engaging her Supervisor multiple times to get us to agree to thier Terms which went from ~$20,500 down to ~$7000 for a LESS than the material design we DESIRED! She spent ~4hrs here, and all we wanted was a General Price-Range! Note: thier materials used are similar to what you can purchase from a Menards, Lowes, or The Home Depot! They "may" have Certified Installers; but like I said, thier Materials are no better than you could purchase at a Big-Box Home Retailer!

John did an excellent job taking out and old baby blue bathroom and replacing it with a modern white, easy to clean tub! He protected the floors, worked with care and precision. He cleaned up everything even the saw dust in the driveway! All this in one day! Thank you John and all the team at Bath Fitter! They delivered exactly what was promised!

Our bathfitter agent Lindsey Hardcastle started us off on our wonderful journey down the Bath Fitter Burnaby road!Starting with our agent Lindsey and ending with Mihael the installer every step of the well known Bath Fitter’s installation process was carefully planned and executed in a top drawer way! The communication and update process was also a factor in making everything easy and smooth. This was especially important as we live on a multi-residential co-op and things have to be done to a high standard according to our exacting co-op rules. We are so very pleased and the design of our new tub and shower system is the envy of our neighbours. We truly love it! Spending up on slightly higher end features (e.g. subway tile wall design) and the Moen fixtures including a fabulous rain shower head, and the elegant sculptural tub also made a lot of difference in the look and feel of our new guest bathroom. Many thanks to Lindsey, Mihael, and another young man and woman who were on phone duty on March 9, 10 and 11, when I had a lot of last minute questions and had the jitters about the renovation. Thanks so much Bath Fitter for a perfect and super fast reno!
On 2/5/26, I paid a deposit of $775 to Bath fitters to replace a tub which we understood had lifetime warranty. Water kept getting between the porcelain tub and the bath fitter tub. After ordering a new tub for $2,500 I discovered I was the victim of an online scam and immediately called Bath Fitters and requested cancellation and a refund because I no longer had the money to pay for the new tub. The company has refused to return the deposit despite the order not being completed.I am requesting a full refund of my deposit.”
Bathfitters are terrible at communicating , with the customer , with information on when the install would be coming . I contacted them after not hearing anything for 3 months . I only received one email in the very beginning . Communication was terrible ..In saying that the fellow that came and installed the shower was very professional and precise . And I love the job . I was surprised then to be charged the following day to the balance owing without knowing it would be charged no further email was ever received . No call was followed up to let me know when the installer was coming unless I had contacted them . Poor poor communication to make sure I even received the emails which I did not , although they said they had sent them . Further follow up should always be done as far as I am concerned for such a big reputable buisness to make sure I had received the emails which I did not .
The paint on one of original tubs was cracking, so instead of going with a tub removal we decided to go with a liner for that tub from Bath Fitter. On the original install, the technician did mark the walls when he installed the liner. When the original liner was completed it did look great. Although whenever you had a bath, you could always feel coldness coming up from the bottom of the tub regardless of how hot you had your water. It didn't take long for the liner to begin to show brown marks on the bottom. We tried all the approved cleaners and methods to try and get the brown marks off the liner. The brown marks weren't on the surface layer, they were showing from under the liner itself. It started in one area of the tub, and then began to show on other areas of the tub. The marks made it look like the tub was dirty even though it was clean. We contacted Bath Fitter to ask for a technician to come and see what was was happening. When he arrived he said yes what was happening with our liner does occur sometimes. He took a bunch of pictures, and we had to wait for head office to approve that the liner was actually failing. That took about 6 weeks. The fix for this was to remove the liner and put in a another new one. These liners are meant to stay on, so removal is a big deal. We have ceramic tile on the walls of where this tub is, when the technician removed the first tub liner, he broke 5 of the ceramic tiles, and he also put a hole in the gyprock behind the tile. The method they have for removal puts too much strain on the surrounding surfaces. It's a wonder that more damage wasn't done. Since the tech had cracked some tiles and damaged the wall, the liner could not be installed on the same day. The broken tiles had to be removed and replaced as well as repairing the damaged wall before the install of the new liner could happen. Bath Fitter makes you sign a waiver saying damage can occur (perhaps the wording should be WILL OCCUR). Once we had the repairs fixed, the tech returned to put in the new liner. Upon this install 2 more tiles were cracked, and he again marked the walls. We are not sure if it's outright recklessness or if it's the pressure technicians feel given the demands to meet the allotted time given per job that gives the tech's an indifference to other damage done to homeowners spaces, but either way makes for a poor workmanship.Would we go with Bath Fitter again-absolutely not! This review is to let others know that failures do happen. When we asked the tech how often he replied in his 9 years of service he had to replace 5.
Bath Fitter USED to be a company I would recommend to my family and friends, but after their company refuses to acknowledge or repair an ISSUE, THEY CAUSED I would NOT!This issue began after the Bath Fitter installer returned to my home to correct an issue with a prior installation. Back in October of 2025 it was reported the shower was constantly leaking, the technician repaired this issue and also noticed after testing for leaks, the water was not properly draining due to a "pitch problem" which he stated should have been addressed during the initial installation years prior. The "redo" to relocate the drain was then scheduled 12/4 & 12/5 and took both days to complete. Prior to leaving my home on a Friday, we were advised to wait 48 hours before using the unit which would have been Sunday. After showering Sunday, this particular unit drain clogged. Monday called their office to report the issue, we had to wait a week for them to return, this unit could not be used. The clog slowly drained over the next 5 days and after returning the technician (Chris the same installer) snaked the drain he cleared the remaining clog. While doing so he stated he was unsure why it was clogged or why he was pulling what looked like packing material from the drain, but the clog cleared. Two days later the clog returned again, except now it was in my other bathroom with a tub except now the tub was draining into the shower where the repairs took place, filling immediately along with DIRT. The repair guy came out (not Chris) and claimed he snaked the drain at least 20FT, but could not clear the clog so the issue had to be in the MAIN LINE, yet my sinks were unaffected, my toilets were unaffected, only this area which recently underwent repair is affected. I didn't argue, I scheduled a plumber the same day who snaked the MAIN LINE, RAN A CAMERA all the way from my home to the city connection, guess what, NO ISSUE with the MAIN LINE?Called Bath Fitter to advise of the plumbers visit results, sent a copy of the plumber's report indicating NO issue in the MAIN LINE and they were unable to snake past the P-TRAP of their "redo" confirming their repair guy couldn't have gone 20FT, so the issue is there! Bath Fitter Management (Brandon) refuses to take responsibility (yet admitted to the plumbing company rep that his guy most likely caused the issue with a jackhammer) and stated I would need to have the repairs done (pay for them myself) and then they would come back and reinstall their unit. This is NOT RIGHT and THEY SHALL REAP WHAT THEY HAVE SEWN!DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - BUYER BEWARE!
