Review Time
We had them rebuild 4 cordless tool batteries over the past several years. In each instance the batteries died in short order. Long story short, the spot welds were detaching. After having to pay for the repairs (oops...out of warranty), we've taken to opening up the dead units and soldering the terminals.
I purchased an automobile battery online and was charged a deposit for the battery core (plus sales tax). When I picked up the battery at the store, I turned in the core and was give a receipt. It took only minutes for the original charge to appear on my credit card, but after five days the refund for the battery deposit has still not been credited. I suspect a scam.
Battery not done on time suppose to be 2 days took 2 weeks very disorganized people didn't have a clue what when it would be done lying saying alot of people in front of me when I was told there's 3 elk river store very disappointed
I bought a motorcycle battery 2 months and the battery went dead for no reason. The battery that was in the bike was 7 years old and I did not have any problem with it. The bike could set as long as a month to a time and it would not have a problem starting. They do not stand behind their warranty. The store is in Roseburg, Or
I stopped at Batteries Plus Bulbs on Saturday morning for a 10 pack of Duracell Ultra LED lights.I noticed that my key fob for my vehicle died and had BBAILEY2 change the battery. I told him that I was having problems with sticky keys and he showed me how to pop off and clean around the buttons.BBAILEY2 cleaned the buttons and popped the back onto the case.I now have a key fob that looks and operates just like new.Thanks BBAILEY2!
I bought an expensive (best they had) lawn mower battery from here July 2020 and was told it had the best warranty I could get. Went to start my mower this morning and battery completely dead. The battery was not connected so there was no chance of the mower pulling it down, even ran it in February. Was told it now has a 6 month warranty. Never again, will go to a real battery place that stands up to there batteries.
These guys were rockstars, going the extra mile to help me out. I purchased 3 AGM batteries for my boat and they only had 2 in stock. It looked like the 3rd would be delivered in about 30 days. Jay, the manager, called around and finally found a 3rd battery, 4 hours away, and had it shipped within a couple of hours. Thats how you build customer loyalty!
When I arrived to the store in Layton Utah I called the number 4 times to set up my pickup curbside. After the 4th attempt I drove up close to the door and a young man with dark curly hair showed up at my car side and asked if he could help me I said that I am there to pick up my battery and I had tried calling 4 times. He responded very rudely and sarcastically he said but we've got people in the store and they are the priority. So, I told him will I am here now please go get my battery I'm in a hurry he turned around and gave me serious attitude and again repeated to him just go get battery . He turned around and called me a douche then went and got my battery and then set it down on the ground in front of my car and walked away. He did not check my ID, he did not check my order number - he did nothing as he was supposed to. I would not recommend the store in Layton Utah while that kid still works there! I will say the young lady that helped me with my core deposit refund was fantastic. It is too bad that she's got to put up with that stupid kid and his attitude.
Purchased two Duracell Ultras for two different vehicles. They haven't performed well. Noticed both vehicles would begin to be sluggish starting after only a few months, no matter the weather. One was replaced after just over a year by BPB because it was testing weak. My mechanic checked the other one and said it was getting ready to be replaced, yet it was less that two years old as well. I drive a lot, these vehicles don't sit around and I know what to do if they are going to sit. At this point I don't trust the product's quality. In addition, I've been buying other products there for 20+ years and had good customer service experience. Today when I went to get another battery to replace the replacement battery (which wasn't covered any longer so I purchased yet another since my truck was dead) I mentioned that the problem is with two separate vehicles so there seems to be an issue. The young manager didn't want to hear that, she wanted to explain what I must be doing wrong. I've been buying cars and batteries and living in Minnesota longer than she's been alive. I know batteries, and I know retail. She lost a customer with that nonsense.
