Ordered a Vespa rubber floor mat it was never sent contacted them on several occasions to find out when i will be getting this item but the could not be bothered to reply, asked for a refund but AGAIN NO REPLY. Contacted E Bay resolution and they sorted it out and got a full refund.My suggestion if you want to use this company would be AVOID AVOID AVOID
Terrible company their strap line should be "if you need it-beed off" because that sums up their attitude towards their customers. I ordered some parts over 6 weeks ago and at no time through the process were they pro-active I had to keep phoning them and even when they knew that I needed a part to keep my slot at the spray shop they still failed to deliver and I lost my slot. Did they apologise- not at all- they just trotted out their stock excuses and then when I cancelled the order Dan threatened to find out where I worked-they really are a nasty company.
Ordered a brake hose for a customer build, which had taken a little time to be sent out. It’s a little over two weeks - the timing is not particularly any persons fault, Covid has slowed everything up, and we understand that. After calling last week, the agent explained that the parts are delayed in the manufacturing process - fair enough - and to call again on Friday if it hadn’t yet arrived. We waited the weekend, and chose to call today. The agent told us it would be out in “a couple of days.” When we explained that the customer is giving us a hard time, and so would it be possible to have something in writing to that effect, he replied that everyone’s having a hard time. Okay, not a response I would have given, but I can imagine it’s not easy on his side. Instead of offering something in writing, he offered to push to have it out by tomorrow afternoon. It was when I dared to tell him that I would phone again tomorrow, to double check it he part had been sent out, the agent responded with a curt “call after 5pm, if you keep calling us, it’s going to take longer.” A little rattled by his rudeness, I explained how I was not going to “keep calling” but will instead be calling after 5 as instructed. I also put to him, very politely and calmly, that although everyone is having problems, there is in fact a responsibility on them to get the part to us, and keep us updated, they have our money after all. He replied that “if I’m going to be rude like that....” and then hung up the phone. I came on trust pilot immediately, only to see appalling reviews - which I wish we’d seen sooner! I will be calling him again tomorrow, after 5pm, and if it hasn’t yet been sent out, may have to take further action with my bank, etc. I’m only hoping that the owners of this company know how his representatives are running his business into bankruptcy with how the public see BeedSpeed.100% recommend AVOIDING.
I’ve submitted a generous 2 owing only to a very helpful young lady who did her best to resolve an initial issue that I had in summer 20 whereby Beedspeed had provided me both incorrect and poor quality parts. At the time it was impossible reach anyone on the phone, there were no return calls and email responses were very slow. Lockdown and subsequent staffing levels considered, they could and should have provided better service to paying customers. I’ve had a cause to call them more recently a couple of times concerning the same parts I’d purchased last summer, only to be dismissively told that the parts are several months old inferring there is no recourse, despite my query being more around how I could test the part and repair it myself. During a more recent call concerning the same parts I was met by a defensive, argumentative individual, very likely the same person as previous, who again seemed to gain enjoyment from telling me ‘the purchase was a year ago’ (splitting hairs it’s 9/10 months) and generally being unhelpful, again to me his statement inferred there was no recourse. The reason for my call was to identify if the branded parts ordered were what I had actually received. My order last year was placed over the phone, my email address was provided but no confirmation was issued to me as they had advised on the call. I’m certain that I wanted specific branded parts as I had researched all options and had committed to invest in the better option. But having bought the same parts again from another vendor it sees to that I was sent lower quality and priced parts than ordered, it’s also possible that there was a misunderstanding with the phone order - which would be fine, mistakes happen and I’d live with it, either way the customer service received today is amongst the worst I’ve ever encountered. Fortunately there are far more professions and reliable vendors around, I’d advise anyone thinking of purchasing items from Beedspeed to do so without high expectations and to consider alternative businesses before investing your hard earned cash.
Shocking customer service, ordered parts in November had not arrived by middle of December so contacted them only to be told parts were not actually in stock and would have to wait 3-5 weeks for delivery. Explained could not wait that long and offered a refund that has not been paid. Still waiting a month later. Now ignoring my emails so have started legal proceedings to get my money back.
