Review Time
I ordered an ac300, b300k, & 350w solar panel in December 2024 based on a recommendation from a trusted source. Before I bought, I researched their products thoroughly, including on their own website. I've been speaking with Ivan in their solar panel division since late Jan & Feb 18th was the last time I communicated with him. The systems pictured on their webpage had panels attached on a home & a car rooftop while driving down the road & didn't mention that the panels pictured weren't theirs. Printed advertising didn't readily state that they don't make waterproof panels, not until the Customer Questions at the very the end. So.... now you can guess right? The research I did was largely based on their webpage & from talking to people who had Bluetti systems. I had the panel installed on my RV roof & it is now ruined. Even the recommender didn't know he had 3rd party panels on his past buildings. Ivan said he was trying to get some accommodation for me to replace my panel. A replacement, a discount or something & someone would email me or call me with their decision. Then......I was ghosted!!! In frustration, I reached out to the sales guy I originally ordered from this week. He played dumb & gaslit me! "I don't see any pictures on our webpage like that" & sure enough, when I pulled up their website, they have changed all of their pictures. So I'm guessing that I was not the only customer that misunderstood. I have spent $2000 & have a nonworking system b/c I can't afford to pay another $400 to $600 for another solar panel. I have spoken with several of their customer service people in the past on unrelated issues & have always been treated well until I unknowingly ruined the panel & needed real help. 3/14(day after review) Immediately was re-contacted by the sales/support rep who apologized & asked me to ship back the ruined panel so a replacement could be sent to me. Will keep you informed about this new development & hopefully, I will be made whole. Wish me luck.4/15 Further discussion with Bluetti addressed the issue of weight. When I had the 350W panel removed from my RV roof, I could not lift it more than 4" off the ground (I'm 5'3" & had no intention of using it as a portable unit when bought.) When requesting the exchange of panels be adjusted for portability to set up & store, at first they said "No, you can only exchange the exact unit." But, a day later, Anson contacted me with a compromise: change the 350W panel(33lbs) to 2 - 200W panels(17lbs each) with a payment to cover the difference in price. That was more than acceptable to me. Since then, I have received 2 - 200W panels that I can maneuver just fine. It took me nearly 4 months to get the issue resolved; & outside of a slow, initial response, they did come through in the end. Thank you Bluetti for doing the right thing & for cleaning up your webpage.
I looked at a lot of power storage options. I compared pricing.Looks style serviceability , and I found that this product was clearly the best. I could have built my own system With little bit of knowledge but I Compared price And this was a good option. It looks cool it works great
I got a great price on the AC70! I started with another brand that I'm happy with, but after watching videos and reading reviews I bought the Bluetti EB3A as a spare. I end up using the Bluetti a lot more for powering small devices like my Mac and my iPhone, but it only has 1/2 the capacity of the competitor. The competitor requires a charging brick and the Bluetti doesn't. I'm always looking for the charging brick when I need it so I'm happy not to have that. The competitor takes a lot more time to charge too. So, I like the EB3A but I was wishing it had more capacity, so I bought an AC70. I mainly need the capacity for my ICECO 12V refrigerator which I take on road trips and camping. I also like the Bluetti app, but I wish it was WIFI and not just bluetooth. I'd like to be able to check on the Bluetti at night from a motel room, but that only works if the car is right outside the room as bluetooth doesn't have that much range. The capacity of these units keeps increasing and the price keeps going down, so the AC70 was a bargain!
I've purchased th AC500 and six B300S for both my offgrid workshop and home backup system for emergency power living here in Florida State. I have also used one B300S battery packs to power my portable refrigerator, within my truck when on the road using one 200 watt solar charger for continuous power. It works flawlessly!It's a beautiful system, indeed...
Who doesn't love a company with good products and a willingness to treat customers as they'd like to be treated. I had an issue with my portable battery, and sent it in to get it fixed under warranty. Unfortunately, the product was shipped back to me with the same issue, however Bluetti took the burden onto themselves to fix the situation and let me get back to my life with a properly functioning and brand new battery. They even generously gave me an upgrade. A gem of a company in a world too full of "we don't care about you, we just want your money" kind of companies. Everybody makes mistakes, but are they willing to accept responsibility and empathize with they customer? Bluetti was and it is Refreshing.
I have the AC200 max and (2) B300 batteries installed in my camper build. I have a small ac unit that draws 500w. An Iceco 75 fridge/freezer. Microwave. Fantastic fan. Smart tv. Starlink and all electric appliances. I never run out of power. I have 1200 W of bouge rv solar on the roof that keeps the Bluetti topped off. I have a DC to DC charger and a folding 400 W Renogy panel that I have never have to use yet. I have a blue Bluetti charger 1 that I have not had to use yet. Bluetti products have exceeded my expectations.
I recently purchased the AC180 and the connection cable to my B230 (which I use with my AC200Max purchased over a year ago). I noticed a connectivity issue with my AC180, so I asked Support for assistance. They promptly got me in touch with a representative, Ava, via email. After several tests, we determined the issue was with my B230, so they promptly sent me shipping papers and, within about a week, got my unit repaired and functioning as expected. Props to Ava and the Bluetti support team for their prompt attention and follow-up. First class service, IMHO.
