Review Time
I ordered a rose for Mothers Day, It never arrived. After checking it was missing somewhere in shipping. I emailed to Carbeth as they don't have a phone number (which would have been quicker), and it took them over a week to respond. I did get a generic automotive response immediately saying it would take 24 - 48 hours for someone to get back to me but then never heard from them again until I had sorted the problem out myself with the shipper. The plant was finally delivered to my Mother 10 days after shipping. It has been planted, but I don't hold out much hope for it thriving.No one from the company offered to send a new plant or even seemed that bothered that it was late for Mothers Day and could possibly be a dead plant by the time it arrived. They have responded to this review(see below) but still, no apology for the rose not making it for Mother's Day and no offer of a replacement plant if the one that arrived cannot make it. Poor experience.
I was sent the wrong order and have made numerous attempts to contact the info@ email to arrange a replacement. I have had only one reply asking for images which I sent but since then … nothing. The website is fantastic, the initial contacts regarding my order and delivery were great, the packaging is really good too but the after care customer service side of the business just doesn’t seem fit for purpose unfortunately which is a shame as I was intending on buying lots more from them. Edited :2 replies to five emails and no follow through until I left this review. I have since received a replacement delivery of garlic … all pre sprouted, dry or mouldy … complete waste of time unfortunately :(
My original plant arrived but it was damaged, I emailed and they arranged a replacement and I have received it today. Beautiful plant. Easy to resolve my issue with them and my request was handled appropriately. Will buy again. Everyone can make a mistake, it’s about how they’re handled and this was handled well. Thank you ☺️
Ordered from photo image Delivery had plant box upside down, Sent as a birthday gift, on opening box nothing like image at ALL very disappointing! 😓No one from customer service has contacted me despite photos and request. Unfortunately Trading Standards next. Very sad for a business owner to send this poor standard to customers!!!
Still waiting for the delivery of the raised beds ordered and paid for. Evri tracking apologised for delay in delivery but the next tracking message received says my order was being returned to Carbeth. Why I know not. Was going to buy other items but now very unlikely to do so.
I have only rated my purchase as two stars because I received my plants weeks ago. I have not planted them as I can’t see any sign of anything in the pot so have kept in the hope that something will start to grow. Maybe best to keep plants until you are sure the plant is live. Fingers crossed.
