Review Time
I found the rose tree poor quality, the hessian around plant was awful and all frayed. All the soil had emptied into the box and I ended up with most of it all over my floor when I unpackaged it. This was a gift for my parents for their 65th wedding anniversary and was supposedly the 65th blue sapphire rose. Quite frankly I was too embarrassed to give it to my parents due to the poor quality and packaging and ended up buying another gift. Very disappointed.
Order placed 5 march. Countless promises of today is the day from Evri followed by an ‘it can be so disappointing, we know, but no delivery today! Had one yesterday, the day before and that’s about 11 so far but no delivery and no attempted delivery. How dare a company treat a customer with such disdain? Have asked for the order to be cancelled by the vendor but they just say the order is on its way. No phone number on the web site. Appalled
It is almost impossible to write the entire appalling saga of dealings with this company. Advice to anyone would be caveat emptor. Goods were bought from them on March5. Evri have stated that they would deliver the plants in this order on about 10 different days but nothing ever happens. The company have been contacted and respond with exactly the same messages, they will investigate with Evri and update. They have the payment. The live plants have been in a box somewhere in Evri’s system since March 5. They will not respond to five requests to cancel and refund. Which recommend sending a complaint letter clearly labelled as such. This made no difference whatsoever, the same email was received by return, they will investigate with Evri and advise. The chances are high that they will respond to this complaint and state they will investigate and get back to me. They have taken money, have NOT delivered the goods, they have promised to investigate and failed to do so, they have ignored a complaint letter and worse, they have repeatedly ignored my five requests to return payment and cancel this charade. Life is too short to buy from company’s such as thisFollowing this review, Carbeth have posted that they require more details so that they may review this. Please note reference details have been sent. They have not investigated nor updated since this order was placed so it remains to be seen if they actually do anything. It is also a shame that it takes a review to spark some form of response.
Good website and when the carriers were late delivering I received very helpful emails also a follow up one to see if everything was ok with my plants.The herbs were strong and healthy, extremely well packed and arrived quickly. I have just ordered a second time!Thank you.
