Champion will never get my money again. The project was kicked off in September with promise to be done by December. After requesting updates from their team, I was blown off and ignored. The initial 16-week quote (per the contract) was not held up, it was not installed until March. I had to call and contact them multiple times to get any updates.On delivery day, there was missing information and they only installed 2/3 of the items as they were told to bring the wrong equipment. This further delayed the project.Once the install was completed, all the doors and windows were missing screens. This took another 2 months to get. The whole time Champion was bugging me to sign a project completion document when the project was not completed.The people I worked with were Justin and Chris, both in the Denver office.On the bright side, the install team (contracted out) were great, kind, professional and did a great job.Champion was unprofessional, lacked communication, unclear on delivery dates and would not call back nor follow up when they stated they would. What type of company is this?
From the ales pitch to completion was very smooth. We know we paid the higher price than other businesses. Trust us in the end it was worth every extra dollar. The siding and new picture window are above all our expectations. The siding installers Dale and his crew were top notch they showed that they cared about our appreciation of the work and did whatever was requested of them. We had questions as to how they thought we should do some special things for us. We let them do as they saw proper and was not disappointed. If you need siding Champion was a little higer priced but it turned out worth every dollar more. If you go with Champion ask for Null Builders as your installers. These 3 men were incredibly perfect in all aspects.
Initially, we were pleased with the communication when it came to scheduling the window installation and the days leading up to the actual installation day. The installers were in and out in a few hours, which was nice. When my wife and I got home from work on the day of installation, we noticed quite a few chips in the trim work as well as scuffs on our walls. We were not expecting to see this so we reached out to our project manager to ask him about the chips and scuffs. Unfortunately, I tried to call him at least 5 times and never got a hold of him. He tried to call me back the first day after the project but never returned my phone call over the course of a week after installation. This is after I tried to reach out to hime so many times during that week. Additionally, I tried to text him pictures from the project, but he only tried to call me the day after the project and kept responding to my texts that he would give me a call later in the afternoon. I still haven't heard back from him at all over the course of the past few days. I am finally writing this after >1 week after installation due to the project manager still not connecting with me to discuss the issues.
Matt, the sales rep, was helpful, honest, and easy to work with. He took my needs into consideration and made great suggestions, some of which saved me money. Steve and the Installion crew were fabulous. They took pride in their work and cleaned up beautifully. Tornado warnings and severe winds and thunderstorms occurred 2 days after installation. The new windows stayed air tight and leak free. I gave a 4 rating instead of a 5 because the lack of coordination between my local team and the corporate headquarters resulted in differing messages about when installation would occur and other logistics. My local team was accurate and my resource for reliable information.
