TO DONT TRUST THEM.

TO DONT TRUST THEM.Very bad Customer service. If you make more then one complaint they don't take them seriously and bundle them all together so that it only looks like one complaint instead of several. This means they get more complaints then they tell people. I have called up several times and each person I speak to tells me a different story and then promises to phone me back that day and nothing.

Shocking service

I bought a motorcycle from superbike factory last October and the finance was arranged through close brothers. The bike is a lemon and so I turned to close brothers for help with the issues I was having with the dealer. Close brothers have been a waste of time since I reported the problem in February. My bike is still no closer to being fixed and my case handler at close brothers must be on permanent leave as I can never speak with her when I call. I have requested several times to hand the bike back and have been ignored on every occasion.i have asked to speak with someone higher about the trouble I am having but get ignored.i have just given up now and just make my payments on time even though i have no bike to show for it. Don’t buy a bike from superbike factory and don’t get finance from close brothers unless you are happy to be mugged off like myself.

they charged me for their mistake.

Had car insurance for 1 year no problems. Just took out my 2nd year policy but they’ve tried taking payments from an old account. So automatically charged me £25 for their mistake. I even checked my confirmation email to make sure bank details were correct and they were. Only way to contact them is to ring them up which also isn’t helpful. I’ve had to pay the charge to carry on being insured. It’s a stupid mistake for such a big company to make. Wonder how much extra in falsely charged fees they claw in!!

Do not do partial payments

No consistency between advisors, after settlement amount. Do not make any partial payments, it's all or nothing. You not saving anything....

Do not use this company , 5 times calling to get a conformation email of clearance for a car we paid off 1 month ago , keep getting told the same thing every time , it will be with you .My new finance has now being cancelled because Ive not provided this information SHOCKING SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICES

If I could give zero stars, I would. Terrible customer service, hidden fees, and unhelpful responses at every turn. Completely disappointing experience — avoid at all costs.

If I could choose 0 I would. Close Brothers have been no help to my mum, making the past 2 years hell. She bought a car in good faith and within the first six months it broke down, due to serious discrepancies in the vehicle history, which were hidden by the seller. Due to close brothers being completely incompetent she has had to pay it to half way. Now this dodgy company are asking for £2,000 more just to give it back, despite not driving it in 2 years. This has caused serious financial distress and no one within the company is there to help. Everyone needs to know how little Close brothers think of their customers. Due to the way Close Brothers do “business” we aren’t left with many options. With the message from them being “it’s your fault it wasn’t maintained” despite heaps of evidence suggesting otherwise, both showing the previous owner hadn’t maintained, hidden miles and that the seller had mis-sold/mis-advertised the vehicle. With many of the documents provided being forged by the previous owner and the garage selling the vehicle. To any potential customers, please stay as far away from close brothers as possible.
