Very bad. Not taking the right payments out each month making us look like we’re missing payments when we’re not. Rang them and said it must be our fault when it’s not coz we have the money in our account every month !!! And they just ended the call on us. The lady just went ‘gotta go bye’ Very unprofessional. Probably going to charge us now for it and just keep the money for themselves.
I’ve just discovered that my motorbike insurance wasn’t a straightforward policy at all, it was set up as a loan. After cancelling it 11 months in, I was hit with a £40 cancellation fee.I would never have chosen financing for a £120 premium; I pay both of my car policies in full each year. In my view, this arrangement feels misleading. I’ll be reading every policy document far more carefully from now on and steering clear of Close Brothers Group wherever possible.
This fraudster company is associated with Zuto car financing company. It happened, that the car I was ready to buy never arrived to the seller. But nobody cancelled the prior agreement, though the paymen was received back by the financing company. Today I checked my bank account and found that the direct debit from the Close Brothers was still there. I had to delete it manually. It is after I was informed by Zuto on 2 July that the cancellation is complete. These scammers are for your money only. Do not enter in any deal with them.
I have used Close Bros for several years for motor finance and insurance. Their process is quick and easy to navigate and customer service and information delivery is good. I have been very happy with the service. Recently there has been concerns raised around over charging but this will be investigated in due course I am sure.
Absolutely horrible customer service. I honestly do not know who hires these people. Very rude and kept interrupting me. I asked three times to stop interrupting me and at the end I had to put the phone down. She was keep saying that she doesn’t know and that she is just telling me whatever she can see on her screen. When I mentioned that I spoke with someone else previously and confirmed what I was talking about she just said that her colleague was lying. So unprofessional! Also I’m pretty sure that these people that they hire for a finance service, they should at least know basic numeracy skills that she was obviously lacking!
The financial process went without a hitch however I have been advised that there is some concern regarding the overall cost and that I have been over charged considerably. I have a law firm reviewing the transaction and am awaiting a response from them.
