Review Time
The account was settled on the 29th September in full. The buyer had to contact me on the 16th October that the finance was outstanding. Finally today the 20th October at just after 8pm o had the confirmatory email. The buyer of my car was not best pleased.
I just want to say that Close Brothers is only finance company I used and it will be the only one I will use in the future , everything was so easy and straightforward and the most important thing is even when I struggled paying they helped me with advice and give me time to make the payment Thank you very much
I got a car and after a week found out the car smoke i made a complain and they said its takes 8 weeks to sort it out it’s been a 5 months now didn’t hear anything from them , I called many times every time i call they say they call me back within 72hrs but nothing, im gonna cancel my direct debit and they can chase me now
Bought a car and the car company set up my finance with close brothers. The car broke down immediately and I was within my consumers rights to reject the car. Having been bullied by the car dealership and explaining this to them I am now nearly 6 months in and have heard nothing from them. I can’t get a hold of anyone. My case handler has changed 3/4 times. Nobody seems to know what’s going on. Someone was supposed to come out and check the car when I finally got through to someone and never did. That case handler has now changed. The worst most awful experience of my life. I don’t understand why it takes so long for anything to be done. Meanwhile I’m still making payments for a car I haven’t driven and paying road tax. Have sent various emails and am always on hold for hours never getting through to anyone. Please make sure you read your T&C word for word. I made the mistake of not fully reading them and when my car was stolen and the insurance payout didn't cover the full finance, I was told I had to pay the amount immediately or at a push within 3 months and if not it would be sent onto a debt collection agency and mess my credit score up. I ended up having to get a loan to get them off my back.Ok Close Brothers,I've sent you an email, let's see what happens!! I'll update this review when I hear back....don't hold your breath 😒
