Do not use - unprofessional and works outside of FCA guidance. If there were a score less than 1 star I would use that. Louisa in complaints team does not reply to mails nor has she resolved a complaint since July! I have repeatedly asked for e-mail address of CEO and been refused! CLOSE BROTHERS DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS REVIEW WITH CALL US - I HAVE OVER 30 TIMES - ANSWER PHONE WHICH YOU NEVER REPLY TO - how you remain in business is a miracle. Look forward to all of this coming out in CourtClose Brothers the complaint is in the name of Jake Young - do not ask me to ring you don’t answer the phone nor do you reply to e-mails - oh and by the way you have full permission to deal with me - if Louisa did her job properly you would know that and I’m still waiting for your Chief Execs e-mail which once again you have failed to provide
I already had finance set up but unfortunately they didn't participate with AutoZone, AutoZone applied through Close Brothers and Yippee they sorted everything. Only disadvantage as I could see was the interest was £1,500 more but hayo I've got the car that I fancied. Thanks to Close Brothers.
Remember to be honest?? Helpful?? Constructive?? Really!!! After receiving a letter regarding my refund back in August I have spoken to 12 people, yes 12!!. Couldn't find my details as old account yet its on the letter they sent! At least 7 occasions the system had gone down! One person said the don't do call backs. Next one said they did but no call back then another said the same and again no call back. 2 different agents said I would receive my refund last week yet still no funds. My details taken at least 10 times also with all saying they would put in the notes yet every agent has said this info is not in the notes!! That 1 star above is NOT deserved as this company close brothers have no idea what customer service actually means!! How can whoever (Mickey, Donald & Goofey) have a pre text of Remember to be HONEST, HELPFUL & CONSTRUCTIVE!! Update now 14 people spoken to. Promised I would receive funds quicker than the 2 weeks previously Promised and the 1 weeks wait promise after . Still waiting tho and still NO management contact!! Obviously close brothers are incapable of dealing with something so so simple. I'm sure solicitors will deal with this issue quicker than this absolute joke of a company!!
Come to find out today that darwin insurance have instructed close brothers to cancel my car insurance and when I spoke to close brothers they said I had to speak to darwin which I did and was told they don't know why close brothers canceled my insurance and there must of been a confusion as I am up to date with my payments. Absolutely incompetent people one hand don't know what the other one is doing Then to top it off close brothers won't reinstate my insurance until I speak to a specialist 🤬🤬 but my payments are up to date!! So where is it you feel the need to with hold my cover when you have no legal right to do so as my payments are up to date.My dad is terminal and I have to take him to the hospital for scans and treatment close brothers knows this and won't restate itWill seek legal advice if its not sorted by today
Edit:Please contact customer service, the same bad service that caused the mess in the first place, that's like asking the arsonist to put out the fire, honestly.***Ended up having to deal with these clowns after taking out pet insurance policies through Swinton.Cancelled both within cooling period because of poor customer service on both Swinton and Close Brothers part but Close brothers still initiated one policies direct debit mandate and sent me two letters, the first confirming one account was closed but the second while stating the account had been cancelled insisted that a full years worth of debit's would be collected.I had to instruct my bank to block them if possible.They can try, because my lawyer is rubbing his hands waiting so he can slap them with a nice lawsuit.Avoid these crooks at all costs.
I raised an issue in August - they told me to instruct an independent mechanic (I did so - using their recommendation). This took some time and I emailed them to let them know about the delays. Finally, once the report was received (about 5 weeks after) - they’d closed the complaint without telling me!As I already had the report, 3 weeks ago they’d opened a new complaint and said someone would contact me within 72 hours and I’ve heard nothing. I’ve asked for callbacks multiple times through phone and email and received nothing.All I want to know is who the complaints officer is so they can talk me through the process! It’s ridiculous that there’s no accountability with callbacks.CDCR-35513023
