Very disappointing return policy

Upon receipt of our seat covers, my husband installed one on the passenger side of our new car. We immediately both felt it didn't do the car any justice, so he promptly removed it and I put it back in the shipping bag with the other cover, which we never even removed from the bag. We then shipped the covers back for a refund. We were told the covers were "sent back dirty and because of that we will have to charge a 20% restock fee." This is a direct quote from their e-mail and it is a blatent LIE!!! Those covers never even had a chance to get dirty!! We never even sat on the one he installed!!! So folks, please beware if you are returning something to this company. Chances are you won't get a full refund. This is a very sad way to run a business.

wrong center console sent…

i ordered a set of camo carhartt seat covers for my 2023 ford f 150 , i didnt open the box for about a month cause i didnt have the time to mess with them, when i went to put these on , these did not fit my center console, i reached out to try and return these and was told they would not take them back , then i was asked to take pics of my center console which i gladly did, then i was told to take pics with the covers on the center console, this time i did not comply , enough is enough for something they screwed up on .they dont care once they take your money, $400 down the drain from a company with the worst customer service ive ever seen

Poor Workmanship and Terrible Customer Service

I paid nearly $900 for a trailer cover from Covercraft, and the top seam's stitching came undone. The material used to make the cover was good quality, and the cut and fit were good. The stitching came undone across the top seam. Covercraft asked me to send a photo of the manufacturer's tag. I sent photos showing the cover was in good condition, but the stitching had come apart. Covercraft told me I could return the cover at my expense for repair but did not say how much it would cost to re-stitch the top seam. I waited several weeks to hear from Covercraft, but they did not contact me. I contacted them again and they said the cover was damaged beyond repair, that they no longer make this cover, and they had sent me an email letting me know.

I purchased a Carver boat cover for my…Bayliner Element with Arch

I purchased a Carver by Covercraft boat cover for my Bayliner Element. The cover does not cover the boat to keep the elements out, leaving a significant gap near the rear of the boat. Also, the cover cannot be properly installed with the boat in the water or on a lift. It appears to be for a trailered boats, but was not advertised as such. When I brought these issues up I was told that it is a custom fit product and cannot be returned. I say the product is defective and should not be sold.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. I was sent a damaged product and then it was on me to to send them proof of the damage. Once it was excepted they would send me a replacement cover weeks later. The replacement cover takes way longer then the original order. Probably because they have to pay for it.I will never order from them again.EDIT: My original order was placed on a Sunday. I received the damaged product the next Friday.I reached out on Monday about the damaged product. It has been over two weeks and I still have not received a replacement. The original order took a week, the replacement is going on over two weeks and I don’t have any indication that has even been shipped. I don’t believe your reply below.

Sunshade to Hot to touch!

We purchased a sun shade for our 2023 Nissan Pathfinder. We had purchased one 10 years prior with no issues. The reflective side on the new windshield cover is so hot, it burns you when removing from the windshield. The heat absorption is ridiculous. It does not decrease the heat in the vehicle as earlier versions did. I have seen multiple complaints on this issue on Covercraft's website, but no response. Very disappointed in this product. Are there any plans to address this problem? Dash Mat: "Don't do it" !!Quality materials incorrectly die-cut or cut by the inexperienced via poor/incorrect measurements and sewn by the equally inexperienced. Covercraft Customer service offered to review an item after many and various clear views via pictures of the item in question were presented. Covercraft returned the reviewed item to the purchaser with communications that the item was spot-on. (Yes, to their unacceptable means of determination and inability to wear glasses while viewing the presented pictures or actual item). Their return policy is strict and in their unrelenting favor. There is nothing in the return policy that favors the consuming public. Return at buyers cost only to receive their determination Covercraft is not at fault and will stick the buyer with a restocking or reshipping charge. They do not stand by their product assumed to be form fitting by any purchasing party. This party will never purchase another item from Covercraft and will certainly and willingly share my experience with others who may consider any Covercraft product.Seeing so many reviews stating Covercraft's sorrowful thoughts on prior purchases here on Trustpilot proving my tale isn't just a rage of discontent. Simply common terrible experiences with Covercraft it appears. Especially for those items that are produced south of our borders.Be very aware of the experiences of others before stepping up to purchase from Covercraft.

Avoid!

Hideous, poorly constructed, and ill-fitting, too small in some places and too large in others. I was actually willing to accept that, but there was also no way to secure them to the seat, so they came off constantly. I asked over and over for the straps shown in the instructions, this was never addressed. I was just repeatedly told that I don't know how to install them. There are 3 little "pillows" that tuck into the back and near the back of one side, that is all I was given to secure the cover and they aren't placed where they can tuck in well. That, coupled with the fact that the covers don't actually fit the seat, made it so that they came loose every time we got in and out of the car. There is also Velcro with nothing to connect it to; I was told that it sticks to the seat, but the seat is plastic there and Velcro doesn't stick to plastic! I ordered another set from a different company, NOT "custom made for my vehicle" (HA!), and for half the money I got covers for ALL of my seats, they are MUCH better constructed, they installed in minutes, and they fit so well that they look like the seats came that way! They are sharp-looking and I get compliments on them, and, oh yes, they came with hooks and straps and they are very secure! So maybe the problem isn't me after all? The only good thing I have to say is that they finally just refunded my money, saving another complaint filed with the BBB.
