We spent two weeks on the road as a group of three with a Cruise America camper, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. The RV was modern, clean, well-equipped, and just the perfect size for us - it felt like our little home on wheels. The pick-up process was smooth and super friendly. The staff took their time to walk us through every detail of the camper, answering all our questions with patience and a smile. We immediately felt well taken care of and confident heading out on our trip.During the journey, the camper was reliable and easy to handle, and we were impressed with how thoughtfully everything was designed - from storage space to the kitchen setup. It made traveling and everyday life on the road incredibly comfortable and enjoyable.Returning the RV at the end was just as relaxed and uncomplicated as the pick-up. No stress, no hassle - just a warm goodbye and good vibes. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and a vacation I would repeat in a heartbeat. If you’re considering a road trip adventure, I can absolutely recommend Cruise America!
We absolutely loved it. The kitchen, the bathrooms, and the ability for the kids to take a nap while we’re driving made the trip phenomenal. Adam & David does a really good job of walking you through everything and how everything works so you feel prepared.
We rented through Camper Days and were luck enough to have a Cruise America RV.We collected from Phoenix, Arizona.Staff were very friendly, show you the RV and give you hints and tips on how to use different things. I’d recommend buying the Generator Package. The RV was clean and was exactly what we needed. Lots of storage and everything worked. We had no issues with Cruise America or the RV. The staff were lovely and helpful.
Water valves were not closed properly so there was no water when I picked up the camper. The tire sensor reported faults on 6 tires. One was actually flat and roadside had to come repair it. The refrigerator would not stay on unless the generator or engine was running.
Probably the worst experience with any company I’ve had. I was over charged for a vehicle that lasted 2 hours into a full RV trip. They were unable to replace the vehicle so the contractor was terminated. We managed through expensive last minute flights, hotels and car rentals. Two months of slow email replies they will not refund a one-way they added despite the vehicle barely leaving the depot. It cost about $15 per mile in this RV and that’s not adding up all the costs added on after. The customer relations team is incredibly under resourced, slow and is given no authority to do what’s right. Things often don’t go 100% your way on a road trip, if something does go slightly wrong you don’t want to be anywhere near a Cruise America vehicle.
I returned the RV after I got home to plug it in with the adapter to get the refrigerator to cool down. The plug from the RV the ground was bent and the tip of it was split so there was no way to connect the adaptor. That was one of many things I found wrong with it. One of the grates on cooktop was broken in half, the private curtian Velcro would not stick for proper use, the flooring was all rippled up. Many other things were also not acceptable. I could not live in this RV for 1 day let alone the 31 days I was renting it! I called the place of rental they didn’t have another RV to rent me told me I needed to call the problem emergency phone they would help me. I said no I am coming back and I would put the keys in the drop box and stop payment for the Rv on my credit card and wanted my deposit back. I have not received a call on Thursday from anyone to apologize for ruining the beginning of my cross country vacation! Also I am very disappointed in cruise America I have rented two other times and was very pleased with the Rv but this time I will know better than to trust this company again.
