Extremely Disappointed with the Service

My experience has been highly frustrating. The service comes off as dismissive and unprofessional, with customers often feeling treated with disdain. When issues arise, the company appears more focused on evading responsibility than on providing assistance. What is particularly troubling is their handling of warranties. Despite clear obligations, they have consistently refused to repair items still covered, offering excuses instead of genuine solutions. It's hard to trust a retailer that doesn't support the products they sell.

The staff member who assisted me was incredibly helpful, kind, thoughtful, and considerate, but most importantly, he maintained a high level of professionalism throughout. Excellent delivery service with a fantastic team

The delivery experience was excellent, with the two delivery personnel being friendly, respectful, and efficient. They took care of removing my old fridge freezer and set up the plumbing for the water and ice dispenser on the new one. Unfortunately, they couldn't complete the delivery because the new fridge freezer was damaged upon unpacking. This was quite disappointing, but one of the team members did everything possible to resolve the situation by arranging a replacement promptly. They also helped to return my old fridge freezer to its original spot. I have no complaints about the delivery team; they were professional and supportive.

Immediate attention required regarding my case

I strongly encourage you to address my case urgently before I proceed with a detailed review of the company's shortcomings, questionable practices, untrained support staff, and miscommunication, all supported by numerous screenshots. I placed an order for a £500 item on November 15th with next-day delivery, but your driver left it in an arbitrary location despite clear instructions, and it has disappeared. It is now December 21st with no resolution... I will give you until the end of business tomorrow to resolve this matter.

Difficulties with Return Process

I faced issues returning an online purchase at the store, despite having picked it up there initially. Following the guidelines, I utilized a courier service to send the item back. It has been a week since the item arrived at the company, and I have yet to receive my refund. I will refrain from buying any high-value items from you in the future.

Damaged item and frustrating return process

The item arrived in a damaged box, which the courier cleverly positioned away from me at the time of delivery. The item itself was broken and non-functional. The company's policy requires me to return it to the warehouse and wait up to 14 days for inspection, followed by an additional 5 to 7 days for a replacement if they approve it. I'm quite dissatisfied; the damage should have been noticed either at the warehouse or by the delivery partner and addressed before reaching me. I certainly wouldn't recommend relying on them for gifts unless you have several weeks before the occasion, just in case something like this occurs.

Mixed experience with in-store collection

I placed an order for collection at my local store. When I arrived, the young lady took my name and then disappeared without returning. After waiting for ten minutes, a very helpful man stepped in to clarify that there was some confusion regarding my name and ensured my item was brought forward. Later, when I returned the item, he kindly explained how to turn it on. While most staff were engaged and helpful during my visits, I would have appreciated it if the initial assistant had communicated the issue instead of just leaving me waiting.

Laptop is excellent, but delivery experience was disappointing.

The laptop itself is fantastic, and the purchasing process on the website was smooth. However, the delivery service was very poor. The driver did not knock on the door or ring the video doorbell, and I only realized the package had arrived by checking the delivery app. The video footage shows the driver placing the laptop on the front step (which has no porch!), stepping back, and taking a photo of it. This was a costly item and should not have been left in plain sight of the street. It's unacceptable that no effort was made to ring the doorbell, especially since the delivery service has been informed that we are elderly and require extra time to answer the door.

Disappointing Experience at the Store

I visited the store with a gift card received from a home insurance claim for a device. The first salesperson who approached me was friendly and did their best to assist, but struggled with English, which was unfortunate as they genuinely wanted to help. The second salesperson spoke good English when not distracted by their phone. I clearly explained my needs, including the specific device and accessories I was looking for, along with the gift card. However, he attempted to sell me a bulky gaming laptop that did not fit my requirements. Perhaps there was an incentive involved that caused him to ignore my needs. When we finally discussed the device I wanted, he tried to sell me insurance, despite knowing I already had comprehensive home insurance. The insurance offered was not relevant to my situation. Overall, the customer experience needs improvement, and staff training might be necessary. My main concern is when staff members check their phones mid-conversation with a customer; this reflects poorly on management and suggests a lack of oversight on the shop floor.
