Extremely Frustrating Experience with This Shop

In my opinion, this shop is among the worst for purchasing items. Out of two orders I placed, only one was successful, and reaching out to customer support was completely unhelpful. I didn't receive a refund. In the past, I did get a refund after leaving a one-star review about an undelivered item, but I didn't change my review. Now, two weeks later, I received an email asking for the money back!

Delivery Disaster and Poor Customer Service

I was expecting my washing machine to be delivered today. After waiting for 3 hours, the van driver informed me that my item wouldn't arrive due to a breakdown. I reached out to customer support to reschedule, hoping for priority treatment. I was mistaken! Now I have to wait another week, which is far from ideal with kids at home. When I requested to speak with a manager, I was told to wait 72 hours, and they couldn't resolve the issue either. I also inquired about a complaints department, only to be told there wasn't one. I highly recommend seeking services elsewhere due to the appalling customer service. Once they have your payment, they seem indifferent. Update: Don't be misled by the automated response I received regarding this review! I provided all necessary details this morning and haven't heard a thing!

My experience with the company has been frustrating.

I've stayed away from this company for years, and now I remember why. I ordered two watches from them, but two hours later, I decided to cancel the order. Three hours after that, I received a message stating they couldn't cancel it and that I should expect a notification from their courier. The email didn't explain how I could obtain a refund. I reached out to inquire about returning the items, but they haven't replied. Here’s a snippet of their email: Cancellation Request #107696514 'Hi, Thank you for your cancellation request. We’re sorry you weren’t satisfied with your order this time. Your item is currently being processed for delivery, and we cannot cancel it immediately. You will receive a text about the delivery; please contact us if you need to make alternative arrangements. For more assistance, please visit our Contact Us page, Kind regards,
The company' I anticipate that returning my order will be a complicated and lengthy process. Compared to how straightforward it is to cancel an order or return an item on other platforms, this company really needs to improve or they may face serious issues. I’ve always felt they make anything beyond taking your money unnecessarily difficult. How are they still in business?

Ordered 3 items, only 2 arrived, and the support has been frustrating

I placed an order for 3 high-value items on 21st November with a delivery expected by 23rd November, but only 2 items were delivered. I immediately reported the missing item on 23rd November and was informed it was logged, with an expected resolution time of 7-14 working days. Unfortunately, during this period, the item went out of stock. I received no updates. On 30th November, I called to confirm if my case was progressing since there had been no communication. I was told I would receive a form to fill out, but I never got it. The representative assured me they'd resend it, which took another day. After I completed the form and sent photos of the received items, I still received no acknowledgment. I called again on 7th December to check if my submissions were received, as the silence was quite stressful. Finally, on 9th December, I was informed that my original item was no longer available, but I could choose a replacement. The advisor mentioned it would take another 3-5 working days to dispatch, but it's now been 5 full working days without an update. Given that I ordered this over 3 weeks ago as a Christmas gift for my child, I am increasingly worried with only a week left until Christmas and have lost all confidence in the service to deliver the item. On a positive note, everyone I spoke to was very kind. However, the overall experience has been extremely disappointing.

Delivery Service Lacked Coordination

I paid an additional fee for the doors to be removed from my fridge freezer upon delivery, but the delivery team mentioned it wasn't necessary. They promised to notify the company for a refund. After several calls to the customer service, spending over half an hour on the line, I was assured the money would be in my bank within 3 to 4 days. Unfortunately, I'm still waiting and growing frustrated with the delay.

Gift for Christmas Arrived in Poor Condition

I purchased a gaming controller as a Christmas gift for one of the kids. Unfortunately, the package arrived damaged. The security seal appeared to have been tampered with, and there was fluff inside the box. It took over an hour on the online chat to arrange a return, and I was disconnected twice for no apparent reason, forcing me to repeat my situation multiple times. I was informed that the controller would be picked up around 1 or 2 PM, but the representative wouldn't clarify if it was a time slot or an all-day window, merely stating that I should wait for an email within 24 hours. At 11:59 PM, I received an email indicating that a pickup was scheduled for the next day with an all-day window. There was no prior discussion about whether anyone would be home, considering potential appointments or obligations. I received just over 9 hours' notice for an 8-hour window (9 AM to 5 PM), and no one will be available until after 11:30 AM. I'm appalled at the condition it arrived in; I didn't even open the box to inspect the controller as I didn't want to take the risk. The advisor was aware it would be an all-day window, and receiving an email at that hour is completely unacceptable. Plus, let's not forget the usual 5-7 days for a refund. I used to think highly of this company, but after this experience, I'm hesitant to make future purchases.

Frustrating Experience with Order Collection

I ordered two computer keyboards for collection at the store on December 3, 2025. I received an email stating that I could collect them on Friday the 5th. However, on Monday the 8th, after reaching out through phone and web chat, I was told to wait another 24 to 48 hours because my items had been picked up by the courier and were en route to the store, with my order being prioritized. When I called again on December 10th, I was informed that the order was still on its way and to be patient. Today, December 16th, I called once more and was told that the courier had not picked up the items, only data had been sent, and my order was lost. Now, there's no stock available, and I will have to wait 14 days for a refund. There was no communication to keep me informed throughout this ordeal; a simple email could have managed my expectations. Unfortunately, there were no updates, and I had to reach out multiple times just to get information. This experience has made me hesitant to order from this service again, and I will likely turn to another platform.

Disappointing Change in Repair Policy

I have been with the repair policy since 2018. A couple of years after signing up, some drawers in my fridge freezer broke. I contacted the service, and they promptly sent replacements within a week. It was great! However, things have changed. I haven't received any notifications about policy updates, but apparently, there have been changes. A few weeks ago, I called to request new drawers again and was given a number for spare parts, only to be told to purchase them myself and that I would be reimbursed later. Unfortunately, I am now £190 out of pocket and was informed that this is no longer covered under my policy. I will not be renewing this coverage!

Disappointing installation experience

I ordered an oven and encountered several installation problems: - The installer damaged my worktop during the installation.
- He used excessive force, which caused part of my kitchen cabinet to become loose and will require refitting.
- The oven wasn’t centered properly, leading to one of the screws not being secured.
- The top part of the oven is bent, and I'm unsure if this is a defect from the manufacturer or a result of the installation. Considering the nearly £150 installation fee, I expected much better care. Now, I have additional issues to resolve due to the installation.
