DHL’s customer service is a nightmare — not only do they fail to deliver packages, but reaching their support is a painful experience. And then you find out they randomly dropped the parcel off at a pickup point without sending any notification. When you ask the support agent to send the details by email, they say it’s not possible. Please invest in a proper CRM system — if you can’t get deliveries right, at least make the communication smoother for everyone.
DHL have my new passport. They have tried to deliver to the wrong address, asked for the apartment number- there are no apartments at my address and claimed they tried to deliver but i was out. That is a lie. I have contacted their UK offices, the local offices 4 times. That was a waste of time. I have asked them to call my spanish phone number on arrival. The result? My passport is sitting on hold in an office or perhaps being cloned.
Waited in all day for a package (Mallorca), and have just had a message telling us the delivery failed. It only failed as they couldn't be bothered to deliver it. We are busy caterers, it is not possible for us to wait in for another day on the off chance that they deem it appropriate to deliver. BTW, this has happened multiple times with DHL, every time we been waiting at home. Reading some other reviews, it is clear that this is common practice. They have ONE job which is to deliver packages, it's very frustrating and disappointing
I am regularily receiving Packages from Germany, about once a week. Every now and then the Package is Not being delivered as „Nobody was Home“. Right now I received and email indicating that my package has been delivered to the closest pick up point because at 18:29h nobody was home. Apart from the fact that I work from home and am always available, my husband and my daughter and our 3 dogs (who bark when they hear the doorbell) were there too! It is annoying as now I have to organize a car since the pick up point is 10km away. Our experience is much better with other companies, but unfortunately I cannot choose the deliver company in this case. But I have the feeling the service depends on the effort the driver makes and one of them if very good! And indirectly he confirmed it to me….when he is on holidays the parcels go to the pick up point. What is your explanation for that DHL?
States the delivery as failed attempt, while they didnt even try to deliver. I was all day at home waiting for it and no one came, they are lying. Not the first time this happened with DHL, this is a pattern.Next day I discover that my package was in a pick up point, the value of this package was about 500 euros, imagine how a costumer feels when it's treated this way.
Today we had made a booking with DHL, to deliver us the product after 3 failed attempts from their side to deliver and contact over the phone which was provided to them 3 of 4 times. We were waiting all day at home in Madrid Alcobendas. DHL did not call our door, did not call us on the phone which was provided by to them, numerous times and at 19:05 today, they wrote under our tracking number that a “El destinatario ha rechazado el envío”. This is absolutely ridiculous, how we refused to take the order, if we were not contacted at all? I am waiting for this order for over a month now, we were sitting all day at home with my husband waiting for this chair today and now this. Absolutely ridiculous company and service. If i would ever by something online, and would see that delivery is DHL, i would run from this website as fast as i can. DHL is a pure shame to all delivery companies world wide, superb dissapointment. If you value your time, money and nerves STAY AWAY !
