Review Time
Awful... The package was several days late. I was then called by the driver who told me he doesn't even deliver to where I live - would I drive an hour to pick it up. After having told him I would not - he told me not to leave my house the next morning; it would be delivered. Late in the afternoon, after being assured repeatedly by customer 'service' it was coming - I was emailed to say it would be a further 5 days. Waste of time and money.
A total waste of time, money and effort at an incredibly probable risk of loosing the package!!! They almost ALWAYS loose the parcels for days and days. I cannot understand how a company with such a bad service is able to survive. And the customer service is completely useless.
AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!save yourself the time, effort and money and stay away from these. They've had my parcel for over a week, its constantly in transit, then goes to a service point then the depot and no attempt to deliver. I've spent many an hour trying to talk to someone for help and it goes around in circles to the useless robot. Wow such bad service please I stress AVOID this company.
Between DHL Portugal and Spain possibly the worst courier service I could imagine. They took too long to get my parcel to Santiago so I missed it. They are then both refused to send it to London even though I am offering to pay. I now have to find an address in Portugal where they can send it.
As usual, DHL claims they “attempted delivery” when they absolutely did not. No knock, no ring, nothing. Just a lazy update pretending they tried, which is a blatant lie. The pattern is obvious: if the package is heavy or even slightly inconvenient, they skip the attempt entirely.What makes this worse is the complete radio silence from DHL. They don’t respond to emails. Calls go unanswered or lead nowhere. I’ve tried multiple times to get in touch, and no one seems to care. It feels like shouting into a void.This particular package is very valuable to me—both financially and personally and DHL’s negligence has put it at risk. Their behavior isn’t just poor service, it borders on fraud. Falsely claiming delivery attempts and refusing to engage through official support channels could easily be considered a breach of contract, if not illegal.
I simply don´t have words to describe how terrible DHL is in Spain. I was trying to send a package from Valencia to France, because I was leaving the country. They didn´t deliver it properly and it was sent back to Spain. Now it´s in a distribution center in Valencia since 3 weeks and it´s impossible to move it from there. You can call a service center in Madrid that does not have direct communication with Valencia, it´s impossible to speak to someone who would know something or have the power to move something. I have sent in two official complaints that haven´t been replied to in weeks. They just stonewall you without the slightest willingness to solve somenthing. I am really scared they will lose my valuabe stuff. Please NEVER send something with DHL in Spain.
