Dont deliver at all home

DHL delivery in Spain is Highly unreliable and just terrible. Spent the entire day waiting at home for them to deliver my package. Amazon came with no issues at all ...then I received a message from DHL saying they attempted to deliver my package and I wasn't home. Sadly it is not the first time this happened and i believe the drivers routinely to do as they cant be bothered. Now trying to locate my package ...phone waiting time over 10 minutes for them to pick up..and still counting . Absolutely the worse. Will avoid therm at all costs.

The worst

Sent 2 messages to drop the package at a neighbours because we are on vacation. No response. Package was left a a drop off point. It took me days to find out which one, because the website is not giving any information, and now I am on the 5th day of 5 natural days (of which 2 days the place was not even open) to pick up the package - while still on holidays. Thanks dhl, you outdo yourself every time.

Liars that don't want to deliver out of their way

Currently awaiting a package that they claim they couldn't deliver because nobody home. This is a blatant lie. We live in a small town 10mins from the main highway and they just can't be bothered to drive out here. They've told os TWICE now and both days we were at home. Liars.

Shame on you DHL

Shame on you DHL. Waiting now for three days for my package to arrive. On Friday I received a message that they can't find my address. Called them, went on their website to check if my address was written down correctly. It was.So they will arrive on Saturday they told me. Wouldn't you know... nothing on Saturday..Called them again and same story. Couldn't find my address. Told them that the street really exists and that no one else have any problems finding it. So now the package will arrive on Monday they told me. Hours pass by on Monday. Not having a lot of confidence I called them to make sure everything is all right. They confirmed me that today it will arrive for sure. I left my two telephone numbers just in case the driver needed help finding it.More hours pass by... nothing. Called again..."Yes everything is fine, still on schedule my package will arrive on time"So the day went by...at 17.00h still nothing. Called them for the fourth time. What do you think????"We can't find your address"

Because Zero Stars is not an option

From past experience using DHL in the USA, both as a customer and business, I felt comfortable ordering products within the EU (Spain in particular) and opting for DHL delivery. IT IS NOT THE SAME. The delivery process in Spain is a nightmare from the lack of tracking indefinitely for days on the DHL website, to lack of customer support options throughout the process. I will go even farther. I am basically a laptop "stay at home" nomad and twice the delivery driver stated I was not home for the delivery. Gets wild when you can see the updated tracking on the website from your laptop while you're sitting at home. Seriously??? To top it off, I file a complaint with DHL and I assume HQ contacted the driver on the route because he then proceeds to drop my package off a the farthest possible Service Point for pick up so I have to travel an hour to get my items when there are pickup points 10 minutes from home. A little disgruntled? The moral to the story is: IF You have ANY OTHER option for ordering and receiving a product in Spain (can't speak for DHL in other EU countries), take it at any additional cost because the stress of dealing with professional incompetence is just not worth the minimal savings in the end.

The delivery was left at the wrong address

I changed the delivery address online to another city (Tarragona) and received a confirmation email that it was successfully updated. However, the package was still delivered to the wrong address in Spain (Alfafar) on 12/08/2024. When I contacted customer service, they informed me that they couldn't assist me because the package had already been delivered. I would advise against using their service and suggest considering another company instead.
