I’ve had two frustrating experiences with this service. Each time I booked a vehicle, they failed to provide it, claiming they didn’t have it available. They insisted that I pay more to receive a different car.

Terrible Experience with Unexpected Charges

I booked through a rental app for pickup on Saturday and return on Sunday. I completed all payments, but upon arrival, I was informed that I needed to pay an additional £40 for delivery since they were closed outside of office hours. The support team was surprised and communicated that it’s unacceptable to advertise availability when they are not open. They mentioned an investigation would take place. I hope to help others avoid this situation, especially if you have weekend plans, as it may be easier to pay the unexpected fee than to disrupt your plans. Additionally, the staff member at the reception handled the situation poorly; I offered him the phone to speak with support, but he declined, seeming defensive. However, a colleague in hijab was much more professional and should ideally be in charge.

extremely disappointing experience

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this service. It began with the unprofessional behavior of an employee at the airport, who nearly coerced me into purchasing full coverage insurance, which I declined. Upon returning the vehicle, I documented its condition with photos and videos, and left it early in the morning. Without any prior notification or email, they charged me €200 for a supposed 1cm scratch on the rim, which they themselves admitted was an acceptable size. This is a service to steer clear of, as they seem to profit from unnecessary insurance and damages they create themselves.

- did not have my vehicle ready upon arrival
- attempted to provide me with a car that had fewer seats and suggested one of my children should not use a seatbelt
- informed me there was a vehicle at another location '15 min' away, but it took 1.5 hours to reach there
- over 1 hour at the original site and over 1.5 hours at the second site
- the other location only had a much larger vehicle available, which cost more in fuel and was harder to maneuver and park during my trip
- the representative promised compensation several times to address the inconvenience
- follow-ups through the provided emails and the app's portal went unanswered by the branch or the company
- central customer service was dismissive, suggesting I should be thankful to have received any vehicle during peak season

Smooth and Simple Experience

The process was incredibly straightforward; I didn't even need to prebook. I simply walked in, chose a car, and was on my way. The representative was outstanding throughout the entire interaction, addressing all my questions and concerns with professionalism. Cancellation Policy is Unfair

We arrived just over an hour late at the airport, which led to our car booking being cancelled. In our frustrating situation, we were then offered a different vehicle at twice the cost. Other reviewers noted that the one-hour cancellation window is a bit harsh, but I believe it’s a scam and a major dealbreaker. I had a car reserved for five days and had paid a deposit—why should it be cancelled so quickly? My recommendation is to avoid this service; they seem eager to take advantage of customers.
