We arrived just over an hour late at the airport, which led to our car booking being cancelled. In our frustrating situation, we were then offered a different vehicle at twice the cost. Other reviewers noted that the one-hour cancellation window is a bit harsh, but I believe it’s a scam and a major dealbreaker. I had a car reserved for five days and had paid a deposit—why should it be cancelled so quickly? My recommendation is to avoid this service; they seem eager to take advantage of customers.
Following the cancellation of my booking, the representative was incredibly friendly and supportive, easing my concerns about the additional costs I would incur. A top-notch employee who truly goes above and beyond to assist customers and maintain their composure. Upon returning the vehicle, another team member was equally helpful and meticulous, ensuring a smooth and quick return process.
I strongly endorse this service. The shuttle, car collection, and drop-off were all outstanding. The car was delightful. I've utilized this company at the airport multiple times, and the staff always greet you with warmth. A special shout-out to the team members.
It's the last day of 2025 and I'm still waiting for a reply from the company regarding my letter describing my terrible experience at their location near the airport. The incident occurred on July 7th, and I sent my letter on July 19th. There has been no communication from them whatsoever. Perhaps I will hear back once this review is seen.
Overview of my experience:
1. My flight into Manchester was delayed by an hour, and my car reservation was canceled by the company. This setup is ineffective at an airport!
2. The sole staff member was rude and unhelpful when I attempted to make a new booking. He even questioned my right to be in the country, which was both threatening and offensive. I am a citizen here. Consequently, he refused to let me rent a car.
3. As a woman traveling alone late at night, the office's location felt dark, isolated, and unsettling. I would gladly provide further details if anyone from the company chooses to reach out. To put it plainly, as a frequent car renter, I will no longer be using their services and cannot recommend them.
I hired my vehicle for a month from Drivilia at Fulham Broadway and from the moment I picked it up until I dropped it off the experience was amazing. I had a Renault Clio hybrid vehicle- almost brand new. I did have a few glitches with the computer - rear view camera not turning off when in drive & wing mirrors nor opening out after I stopped one time - but these were minor issues and easily sorted out. Many many thanks to the wonderful staff (particularly George & Nathan), who made my dealings with Drivilia so enjoyable. Nathan even drove me and my luggage home after I dropped the car off. I couldn't be happier with the service. Will definitely use them again. Thank you so much guys. Happy New Year!
My experience was completely unacceptable! Upon arrival, I had to wait two hours to receive the vehicle. When returning the car, I noticed a small piece of rubber from the tire sticking out (which didn’t affect the tire's functionality), yet I was wrongly accused of causing damage. The manager I spoke to was condescending and patronizing, showing no understanding of customer care!
There's a valid reason why a significant portion of reviewers rate this service with one star! I reserved a vehicle for 1600 on Friday, just an hour before the branch's closing time at 1700. Due to a delay, I was unable to pick it up. I informed the company that I would come for the car at 0800 the following morning (Saturday). Upon arrival on Saturday morning, I was told that my reserved vehicle had been reassigned. This seems untrue, as I was meant to collect it at 1600, and there’s a grace period of two hours until the branch closed at 1700. I arrived right at opening the next day. The branch was closed from 6 p.m. to 8 a.m., so how could the vehicle be reassigned during that time? I was incorrectly informed about a late fee and that only the company's insurance covers their cars - complete nonsense. I was pressured to accept a much smaller vehicle, which I refused. I specifically booked an intermediate SUV for its larger luggage capacity. I was directed to contact the booking platform, which I did. While on the call, the company canceled my reservation without my permission. I attempted to reserve a new vehicle directly through their website, only to be told no cars were available. This is hard to believe, to say the least. It appears you can book a vehicle that isn’t actually available, so if you're counting on the car you've reserved and paid for to be ready (which seems reasonable), you might be in for a surprise... I'm still waiting for two refunds. No confirmation of the cancellation of either the original or the new booking has been received. The branch manager was exceptionally rude and showed no interest in resolving my concerns. This is my second experience with this company. The first time, I had to wait over two hours at the airport due to their system being down. I eventually booked with another provider who was very accommodating and pleasant to deal with. Stay away.
I arranged my rental through a platform, and after returning the vehicle in flawless condition, the company has yet to release my hold deposit. I reached out multiple times and was repeatedly told that the delay was due to my bank. This is simply untrue; my bank confirmed that the hold persists only because the company has not processed the release. To make matters worse, the company has ceased responding to my inquiries and has provided no assistance in resolving this issue. I frequently rent cars and have never encountered anything like this. This situation has been incredibly stressful, time-consuming, and entirely unacceptable. I will not be utilizing this service again.
I had a fantastic experience with the service. Booking online was effortless, and the team at the location was friendly and supportive. The vehicle was spotless and in great shape, and the return process was seamless. I would certainly rent from this company again and recommend it to others.
