Review Time
Bought an alloy and tyre schedule after having read their terms and conditions. I have since suffered damage to a tyre that needs to be replaced. Emac are stating that the tyre "seems worn down" (it is worn, as all non brand new tyres are, but still within legal limits as stated on the terms and conditions) and "does not have a puncture" therefore it is not covered...Nowhere in the terms and conditions that I signed does it mention these exclusions. The tyre is badly split, looks like I have driven over something but they are claiming it is not damage but "wear and tear" therefore not covered. Its obvious damage, not were and tear.I have questioned these fictitious and made up exclusions but the only reply I have had from them is their "final decision" so they are now ignoring my e mails...If these exclusions would have been mentioned in the terms and conditions that I signed, I would not have bought the policy in the first instance. They are trying their utmost not pay out.....Please give this company a wide berth, they are vague, uncommunicative and pay disregard to terms and conditions. Buy a policy from a company with integrity and morality, not this lot.
After receiving a few text message reminders that my car was eligible to renew a service plan, I contacted EMaC when it was convenient for me. Constantin, the customer service agent who renewed my plan, presented options to me clearly and was calm, patient and friendly in his approach.
Called to renew my service plan and notify of a change of vehicle. Dealt with by Constantine who handled the renewal process very efficiently and I received the new documents very quickly too. Very pleased with the service I received.
Be careful what you're signing.Took out a car with Trade Centre Wales, and they stated yes, cancel anytime, but nope, you're in a contract. Didn't see that one coming when they were pushing paperwork on you, so after hours and days of emails and calls, they're refusing to cancel it even though the contract states: The vehicle must be mechanically sound and of road worthy condition during the sale. Well I had a broken drive shaft, the ball joints were gone, so flooding with oil, the alloy was cracked, and loads of advisories on the MOT that would fail in 12 months. And a door handle like it had been broken into, so once again these don't offer anything unless the engine falls out. Basically, they cover nothing. Once again, I was missold this, but do you think they would let you cancel? So I refused to pay, so they said I'd have the bailiffs knocking on my door. Once again, avoid at all costs. Overpriced crap you don't need. Place mis-sold; Trade Centre Wales also avoid. So much of a contact doesn't even have a service plan number or warranty policy number. Again, be careful; they are making so much money ripping people off, thanks to Trade Centre Wales. They tried to have this taken down for Defamation so saying you're lying lol unlucky. And p.s im sure the 5 star reviews half of them are bots Also a massive thanks for telling me I could cancel my warranty at any time now I am stuck in a silly 12 month contact liars and crooks avoid or you will pay dearly horrible people Iv was on the phone to you all day yesterday mis sold warranty so the lad can make commission its all over the trade centre Wales reviews that people are getting told they can cancel it at any time just pure lies
