Beware you may be scammed!!!

One of the worst experiences endured at check in. Inspite of confirmed tickets & a half complete web check in lady passengers were made to wait for more than 2 hours at check in counter till the last minute saying the flight is full & no space. I wonder if it is even legal to overbook by issuing more tickets than the number of seats on the aircraft. Low cost carriers are better than these so called big airlines. I wonder how these airlines end up getting the best airlines awards.

Dishonest Routing & Lost Belongings - A Massive Letdown

I am utterly disappointed with Emirates and feel completely misled after two consecutive nightmare experiences. This airline does not live up to its reputation and engages in deeply dishonest practices.First Issue: Bait-and-Switch RoutingMy first flight was booked from Hong Kong to NYC with a stated layover in Dubai. Upon checking in, I was shocked to discover a sneaky, unannounced additional layover in Milan. This was never mentioned at any point during the booking process. I specifically paid a premium for a one-stop flight, not two. Other two-stop flights were cheaper, but Emirates charged me more and delivered an inferior, longer product.Second Issue: A Horrific Layover and TheftThe return trip from Rio to HK was even worse. After Dubai, the plane landed in Bangkok for 1.5 hours. We were held captive on the sweltering, hot aircraft without being allowed to disembark. When I politely asked to get off to use the WiFi and stretch my legs, I was refused.Upon returning to my seat after this ordeal, I discovered that the cleaning crew had already removed all my personal belongings! My jacket, my wash bag (which they claimed they "don't provide," despite me having just received it on the prior Emirates flight from Rio!), and my specific charging cables were gone.While the staff retrieved my jacket, my wash bag and original cables were lost forever. Their "solution" was to hand me a bunch of random, mismatched cables, essentially admitting they just grab lost property from other passengers to placate complaints.Conclusion: A Complete Breach of TrustEmirates' core failure is dishonesty. They advertise and charge for one-stop flights but secretly add unannounced stops. This is a blatant bait-and-switch. Coupled with the horrific experience of being trapped on a hot plane and having my belongings effectively stolen by their own crew, I strongly advise anyone booking a flight to avoid Emirates unless you enjoy paying for a premium product and receiving a substandard, deceptive service.

Booking.com - Duplicate Emirates Booking Ref: LDDGP2 & FM6AV6

I am writing regarding three Emirates flights I booked and paid extra for through Booking.com. On 12/08/2025, after a failed booking, two payments were processed β€” €6,704.59 and €6,603.21 β€” resulting in duplicate bookings for the exact same passengers, seats, and flights.Emirates has confirmed that its system automatically prevents duplicate bookings by cancelling identical reservations. Booking*com/GoToGate should have identified and resolved this issue immediately on 12/08/2025. Despite my repeated requests for a full refund, I have received contradictory and inaccurate information. I was initially told that the first payment was not received, then instructed to request a refund from my bank, and subsequently given empty assurances that the refund would be processed β€œwithin three days.”I have requested all documents relating to the duplicate booking, including the e-ticket PDFs associated with Ref: LDDGP2 & FM6AV6. As it is not possible to book the same passengers, seats, and flights twice, I am still awaiting these documents. This situation demonstrates a serious failure in your booking and refund processes. Support channels have been largely unreachable, and chat responses appear scripted. This pattern of double bookings and delayed or misleading refunds is widely documented on Trustpilot.Emirates, Booking*com, Etravel, Gotogate ?

My Horrible Experience with Emirates Business…

My experience with Emirates Business Class was shockingly bad. They damaged my baby’s stroller and then ignored me for three months. I kept emailing, and all I got were useless, empty replies β€” no real answer, no responsibility, no compensation at all. For an airline that advertises itself as β€œworld-class,” the way they treated me was unbelievably careless and disrespectful. This was a horrible, exhausting, and completely unacceptable experience. I will never trust Emirates again.

Disappointing Experience for Gold MembersAs a long-time gold member of Emirates Airlines, I have always appreciated the privileges that come with my status. However, my recent experiences have been incredibly disappointing. The customer service has taken a downturn, and the once-valuable benefits of being a gold member feel non-existent. Despite having a substantial number of air miles in my account, I have encountered resistance when attempting to use them for upgrades. The staff's attitude has been unexpectedly cheeky, and it seems they are no longer willing to assist loyal customers like myself. This shift in service has left me feeling undervalued and frustrated.I expected a higher level of service and support as a gold member, but sadly, that has not been the case lately. I hope Emirates Airlines can address these issues and restore the quality of service that loyal members deserve.

The nightmare trip with emirates

Hello,I had a nightmare flight with emirates. Today I took a flight from Dubai to London Gatwick, and since the captain and co-pilot (Rafael and Lucca) said there would be a delay, I decided to lower my seat to relax. Suddenly, I heard a shout that I couldn't lower my seat because the screen was too close to the person behind me. I think the ladies called the flight attendant, who asked me to return my seat, and so I did. I didn't do anything illegal. I even spoke to Mohammed, and he said that I do have the right to lower my seat. Only during takeoff and landing do I not. I thought everything was resolved and when the plane took off I lowered my seat again and my son who was next to me couldn't lower it because the girls' mother was holding the seat with her foot and the girl behind me was kicking my seat and holding my seat so I couldn't lower it. And then the verbal abuse began, calling me a bit…and my 9-year-old son an idiot. Not satisfied, they started laughing at us, bullying and xenophobic comments. I talked to my son about the food and looked back to see if the food was coming and the girl started saying, "Repeat many times what you said." I didn't even respond, and besides, I was talking to my son. Than the lady who was beside me was pretending that she was sleeping to avoid us to go to the toilet. We excused ourselves and walked over the girl to go to the restroom. When we returned, there were several items on our seat and I asked the girl next to us if it was hers and I heard laughter and soon understood that they had thrown it in our seats. Then I was so I put my feet up against the front seat and the girl next to me turned around and said that I had my feet up against the front seat and then the girls behind me said that I was wild and all the time laughing without limits. Not satisfied, they began to open and close the table with force on my back, very hard, several times and laughing. When they heard me speaking my native language with my son, they began to make joking and xenophobic comments. So I stood up and called the flight attendant, and since they were in a group, they all stood up in their favor. The flight attendant told me that she had seven witnesses in their favor and treated me badly. I asked to change seats, and she said she couldn't, but she changed the four women's seats. I told the cabine crew that they were together and parents, relatives and friends were not able to be a witness. I honestly panicked because I was with my little son and I feared for my safety and his safety when I got off the plane due to the aggression and lack of boundaries from these women. I asked the flight attendant if there were cameras on the plane, and they said yes. So I said I would legally request the footage to prove that we were victims of aggression, racism, and xenophobia. After I told the flight attendant this, she said there were no cameras.I explained to the flight attendant that I have a university degree and that we were raised with principles, and there is no point to be unkind with someone. she said that didn't matter. We were humiliated, threatened, suffered racism, bullying, and we had to call the police because one of the women who was with the group threatened to hit me and said my son was rude. He spent the entire trip just watching movies and didn't even say anything. We had to call the police because we were so scared. They escorted us to the train station and said they could see the panic on our faces. I wanted to make a video of what the girls were doing to us on the plane, but the flight attendant said it was prohibited. It was the worst experience of my life. I want my money back and I will take all legal action against the assaults we suffered on the plane. In addition to the terrible service, bad food, and the one-hour flight delay.

Annoying Customer Service auditing my Skywards account. The website of Emirates for redemption of Skywards is useless with errors popped up all the time. It is not user friendly to convert miles to other partners products. I even got my account frozen without access right. Poor Service!

Traveling from Thailand to England with…

Traveling from Thailand to England with Emirates on 31 July, I had upgraded my tickets to premium economy. However, my flight from Dubai to London EKEKO11 I was put in economy as there was no premium economy on that aircraft talking to a pilot in the UK, he told me a passenger should never be downgraded. If the airline cannot provide the seat I have paid for they should’ve upgraded me. My sky number is EK 410–3 82–490 and my booking reference is B7EJHF.

Waiting for more than one hour for baggage checking and no drop off possibility

We have traveled with Emirates several times but last 3 flights we have been in que for more than one hour for checking in baggage. Sorry but for the fares this is not okay. It is not possible to drop the baggage as on other airlines

Very bad customer service and very rude and ill-mannered staff, it was a very bad memory for me and my family that we had today on the Emirates flight at 9 pm.
